“Onder Papegaaiberg” is pure piano. The piece looks at the town Onder Papegaaiberg, located in Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape of South Africa. The town is part of the Cape Winelands District. It is one of many places we lived when I was a kid.  Thinking of the stories my parents told me of those years bring warm and happy feelings to my mind.  The music offers a happy and peaceful aesthetic. The piece consists of three piano sound files and the A major scale/mode was used to create it. 

Enjoy and remember, there is always more music coming!

Onder Papegaaiberg

To me this track is about always being distracted by the big and little things in life. Always wondering what thing is gonna happen in the near future or fixating on things that already happened in the past. Your mind racing trying to solve and project the future. This song is a reminder to myself to just slow down, live in the present and enjoy where you are right now, rather than worrying about tomorrow, or yesterday, or what is gonna happen in a week, or in 10 years. JUST SLOW DOWN AND LIVE IN THE MOMENT!!
