Tocca Mocca sounds like a new, exotic coffee blend.
And in fact Jacob aka Tocca Mocca has always been a bit exotic. And so it was with his style-finding process. Whether in Bremerhaven between the pub mile and RnB or after moving to Dresden: he stayed true to the straight beat. Nevertheless, practically anything can happen to him between deep house and techno - depending on the task and taste.

The open air format has a special place in his vita and at the same time a preference. He was resident at Ouvert and also played the aftershow of the Ich & Du Open Air and the Focus Festival in Görlitz. In the club context, Tocca Mocca has already taken place in the Sector, TBA, Paula, Puschkin and Koralle in Dresden and in the Elipamanoke in Leipzig. He supported acts such as Jan Oberländer, Dole & Kom, Fjaak, Empro, The Micronaut, Sven Tasnadi and Francesco Tristano. Since 2019 he has been responsible for the "House / Techno Department" in the UTM family and will be at the forefront of the official 4/4 style vortex.

Martin got connected to electronic music by his brother. He was fascinated by DJ gear and DJing, and he learnt mixing quite quick. Basically from the dancefloor into the booth.
After gathering first expieriences at "Feierfront" in his hometown Uslar, he was hired for first gigs in local clubs, open-airs and radioshows.
His prefered genres are Tech/Deep House, Melodic/Organic/ Afro House and Downtempo, but also grooving Techno. Driving, melodical, rhytmic, dancing summarieses Martins style.

Martin is a crew member of Deep House Metropolis and Feierfront Uslar.
