Producer JAAW is back on Olde Tapes. After releasing his singles "hmm" and "dance", we are proud to present his next LP, connecting the dots between multifaceted musical influences.
Four tracks that capture the evolution of the party, this release is a sonic journey that unfolds with hypnotic and sophisticated energy.
"Dance" opens the EP with a vibrant blend of acid house and classic sounds, perfect to light up the night. "Unbreakable" follows with an acid synth that maintains tension and surprise, while its enveloping rhythm never loses intensity. [IMPORTED PREMIERE] DJ Sandwich & Marc Pané - Supernova

After eight years, Luca Musto and Florian Rietze as Musto & Rietze are finding their way back to their origins and are releasing their first collaboration since 2016, “Freuchte Watten”. 

This first single is based on their own mix of deep house and lo-fi aesthetics the Berlin-based Rare Affair imprint and ensures the right mood on cold winter days with an elegant portion of clever sound design and galloping groove.

A chance introduction between vocalist Anna Ling and producer Lucky Sun (Tom Lown), resulted in 2 luscious remixes of her song Butterfly. 

Anna Ling, a singer-songwriter, choir leader and teacher based in Devon had an interest in working with different producers to give a new perspective on her already wonderful, folky original self released songs.

The first of the 2 remixes has a downtempo groove, featuring Tom’s live drums with subtle synths and pads creating a bed for the double bass and strings from the original. Anna’s unique, almost otherworldly voice carries the song up into the clouds. Live instrumentation and electronic elements weave together to create goosebumps. 
The 2nd remix ‘Lucky Sun Midnight Dub Mix’ is more uptempo with an uplifting, warm deep house feel. Anna’s vocals are more minimal and lay deeper in the mix, instead of upfront, creating a ‘dub’ type version.

Funkyjaws is the Belarusian DJ and producer Sergey Abramov, who has been dropping his funky disco heat on the likes of Kolour LTD and Shadeleaf Music before now, as well as his own fledgling self-titled imprint. This one kicks off with 'WME' which has some big horn action and stomping disco drums to liven up any party. 'Snapshot' has a raw vocal and atmospheric energy that is sure to uplift and 'Dancin' then brings some sweet hip-swinging claps. It's a string-laced disco affair to close with the majestic 'You'.
