Pour cette rentrée 2016, c'est Robin qui se charge du mix dub. Collaborateur régulier de Musical Echoes, il a aussi rejoint le Zaïdub sound system il y a un an. Fondé en 2013 par Flo et résident des Lion’s Night, ce crew clermontois (63) n’a qu’un un seul objectif : faire découvrir et partager la musique roots et la culture sound system sur sa sono artisanale de quatre scoops pour des danses physiques!

Here at Scotch Bonnet Records we love Reggae music's rich heritage. Not only is it is as strong today as it ever has been, soundsystem culture has now spread to every corner of the world. To celebrate this we have compiled a few musically important releases from some of the key musicians and producers that have influenced and nourished Scotch Bonnet records since the start. Knowing where to start was hard, but we have grappled with the slippery beast of personal taste and settled on tracks that we can all proudly stand behind. Some have appeared on single, some are dubs that Mungo’s Hi Fi couldn’t stop playing on the Soundsystem, and there are some brand new pieces to keep it crispy fresh. On this brand new 7'' Joydan bring us a modern roots, warm and conscious sound, joining on this production we also have Junior Brooks (Huba Records Collective) Saxophonist and Romano Rafael for the percussions from the North of Portugal collective Real Rockers. On the vocals we have Sista Awa who bring us a beautiful view about her roots and livity through her lyrics and soulful voice. For the final mix and dub we have Paul Lush out of Nucleus Roots .

En 2017, il découvre la MAO et depuis il compose ses propres morceaux. Adepte des soirées soundsystem et inspiré par le UK dub, sa musique est un mélange de stepper anglais et d'ambiances aériennes bien prononcées qui ne cesseront de transporter tous les massives.
