DJ Ronin（別名DjRoninTokyo）は、東京を拠点とするヒップホップDJ、ターンテーブリスト、そして教育者です。彼は「Scratching Made Easy」を共同設立し、YouTubeチャンネルで標準的な音楽記譜法を使ってスクラッチDJのテクニックを教えています。また、スクラッチ技術を伝統的な楽譜で解説するメソッドブック『Scratching Made Easy: Turntable Method Book 1』の共著者でもあり、世界中の学習者がよりアクセスしやすい形でこの芸術を学べることを目指しています。


アメリカワシントンDC出身のRONINはクラシックアメリカンスタイルヒップホップDJで ＤＪ、Scratch、Turntablistとして2007年より東京で活動を始める。 RONINはいくつかの東京で一番ホットなクラブに欠かせない存在であり、 彼と言えば「真のグルーブ」を連想させられる！ Spicy Chocolate (第57回グラミー賞ベスト・レゲエ・アルバムにノミネート)伝説的マンスリーイベント、Bomboclat NightでのレギュラーHIPHOP & REGGAE DJを こなしていた頃から彼を知っている人はRONINのターンテブリストとしての腕と音楽の知識を尊敬している。 RONINが回せば、Soul ClassicsとUnderground Grooves、Funk、Classic Hip HopとReggaeの衝撃的ミックスが期待できる。 一つのジャンルに拘らず、リスナーの心を鷲づかみして深い音楽の旅に連れてくれるでしょう! 



DJ Ronin, also known as DjRoninTokyo, is a Tokyo-based hip-hop DJ, turntablist, and educator. He co-founded Scratching Made Easy, an educational platform featuring a YouTube channel where he teaches scratch DJ techniques using standard musical notation. He is also a co-author of Scratching Made Easy: Turntable Method Book 1, a method book that documents scratching techniques with traditional music notation, aiming to make the art form more accessible to learners worldwide.

RONIN has been a staple of Tokyo’s club scene for years. From his early days as a resident hip hop and reggae DJ at Grammy-nominated reggae artist Spicy Chocolate’s iconic Bomboclat Night, he earned respect for his skillful mixing, scratching techniques, and deep knowledge of music. When RONIN takes the decks, listeners can expect a unique blend of soul classics, underground grooves, funk, classic hip hop, and reggae seamlessly woven together to create an unforgettable journey.
