KATT & I picked Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" to cover because it talks about feelings of loss in a way that many people (including us) can understand & relate to. When we created the song, we wanted to show respect to the original and help others feel a bit better, just like the song did for us, but showcased in a new way with our musical styles. It's more than just making an electronic dance music cover; it's about sharing a story that helps people deal with tough times.
