A Lunacy

Something new to share with you, and it’s a bit of a shift from my usual sound.
With my wife’s pregnancy, I found myself drawn to making more peaceful, ambient music—something calming for her, for our baby, and soon, for you. Instead of beats and samples, I’ve been working with real instruments (with piano and organ recorded in Bøler kirke in Oslo), field recordings from the Norwegian wilderness (thanks to my brother-in-law), and subtle white noise textures.
It’s different, but it feels right. Beginning by previewing tracks on Soundcloud, with a wider release on all the usual streaming platforms and Bandcamp later in the year. I’d love for you to hear it.
