Chopped the first Sample, pitched it down, and created a basis. Rechopped and filtered two other parts and layered it over the first part, and ran it through guitar Rig. Bassline from a Moog Voyager
The Second sample I used 10 chops, pitched down 3 semitones, and layered a heavily reverbed, chorused and phased copy underneath and mixed in under the dry signal. Also Moog Bass

Outside drums and some background vocals from my man, crazy street preacher from GTA IV.

PhishCakes is the electronic alias of a musician based in the southwest UK. After years of recording in several genres under his real name, PhishCakes was created to explore a more experimental direction. Often rooted in ambient textures and sound design, this project is a space for sonic freedom - drifting between structure and spontaneity, melody and harmony, rhythmic structure and ametric space. 

Late 08 is PhishCake's debut release and was inspired by the first landing on a comet, by the ESA's Rosetta mission. The Philae lander, part of the Rosetta spacecraft, successfully touched down on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, after a 10-year journey and a 500 million kilometer voyage.

Matteo Viani (Black Seed) and Andrea Marini (SabaSaba) gather their gears and influences to craft a narrative and figurative landscape through sounds and signals.

These 8 tracks, as sounds experimentations, have been spontaneously recorded live, then enhanced byTioma Tchoulanov (Nze Nze) mastering, create a navigation in some shallow waters, a Path of Paladin from the darkness to the light of brighter days.

This comes as a tape, dubbed on recycled batches, wrapped in a very exclusive collage by Andrea Marini.
