In the desolate corners of a decaying city, where neon lights flickered like dying stars, I found solace in my twisted visions. My dark dreams were a sympathy of despairn painted in the surreal hues of eerie landscapes. As my mind was wandering through these nightmarish alleyways, the city's heartbeat pulsed with a sinister rhythm. 

This is the soundtrack of my darkest dreams, those which inspired the very essence of the Karassimeon project.

This week on Topshelf we're gassed to have with us UK-born, Berlin-based DJ / Producer Radondo.
 
Quickly becoming a prevalent artist within the German Capital, Radondo has become a resident and close affiliate of the revered Slow Motion Records, he has honed a versatile sound, playing regularly at the likes of Renate and HÖR Radio.
As a producer and remixer, Radondo has had a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Loose Fit Records, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files.

Merging his love for arcane soundscapes with ethereal analogue synth lines, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the scene’s greats. Tying together his Post-Punk, EBM, and New Beat influences, Radondo creates a tantalising atmosphere drenched in nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

Hostage Radio Vol. 65 - Ludmila Houben

Born in Brazil, Ludmila started DJing in 2009, making a mark in the underground scene across Brazil. Her sound effortlessly blends Electro, Dark Disco, EBM, Techno, Synth Wave, and Indie Electro, seamlessly blending classic 80s styles with dark electronic sounds.

In 2020, Ludmila created the Trevosa channel, a space for artists and enthusiasts to share their sounds and promote their original productions. In 2022, Trevosa evolved into a party based in Berlin, promoting connections with artists from all over the world.
Currently based in Berlin, Ludmila conducts her musical productions through her project Discodrama, reviving the sounds of FM synthesizers with contemporary beats and dark electronic tones. 

Ludmila continues to be an influential figure in the dark electronic scene, connecting people, creating spaces and living her real passion for music.

Sus inicios se remontan a principios de los 90, realizando un programa de radio llamado La Hora Indie, donde sonaban grupos como Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Pulp o New Order. 

Es un autentico apasionado de la música y coleccionista de discos, especialmente los de doce pulgadas. 

El primer contacto con una cabina fue en el año 93 en Carmín, pasando luego a Farmacia de Guardia, donde es residente desde su apertura.
Durante casi dos años llevando las riendas de la sesión matinal Da Funk, por la que pasaron los principales dj,s de Valladolid. 

Ha sido  promotor y residente de dos sesiones muy destacadas en la ciudad de Valladolid, hablamos de Click Clack Club y Circus, por donde pasaron artistas de primer nivel tanto nacionales, como internacionales, también ha sido residente de clubs como Subterfugio, Refugio, UHF, La Española Cuando Besa, Summun ademas de la residencia mensual que tuvo en Dr Wax de Madrid en el año 2.001 

Su música ha sonado en salas como:Fellini(Bcn),Flow(Huesca),Beatz y Submarino(Salamanca) en la casi totalidad de clubs de la ciudad de Valladolid, como Radiola, Asklepios, Mocco, La Lola, Rosarillo Club, Factory, La Traviata, Namaste, Loop ,Cafe del Sol,1.900, Crisol, Matadero…También cuenta con un proyecto llamado Doce Pulgadas, donde se revisan los clásicos de los 80 y 90.

En sus sesiones siempre busca el alma a la música, destacando sobre todo su conexión con la pista. En estos momentos ha vuelto a la radio con su programa habitación615 en Ibiza Sonica.
