Paper Crown & Violet Skies is an alternative rock journey through heartbreak, rebellion, nostalgia, darkness, and hope. Across 10 tracks, Lucidelusions blends raw emotion with anthemic choruses and vivid storytelling — from the vulnerability of Tattooed on My Heartbeat to the explosive rage of Burn It Down Before Dawn, the haunting echoes of Hollow Cathedral, and the redemptive light of Leave the Lights On.

For transparency: the vocals and melodies on this album were generated using Suno, but every lyric, every theme, and every concept was written by me, line by line. While I use AI as a tool to bring these songs to life, I hold deep respect for true musicians, songwriters, and performers whose artistry inspires me. This album is my way of expressing creativity within my means, and a tribute to the music that shaped me.

This album is a compilation of the 2017 Destructo Disk EP, "Punk Rock for Kids Who Can't Skate," remastered to fix some of the kinks from the original release, as well as (most of) our splits with X-ray Cat, Les Baisures, and Baxter. It also features 3 new recordings that we hadn't released until this point; "Death Pact," "Keef America Gr8," and a re-do of "Glenda."

This album was released on Spotify and Apple Music a couple months before we uploaded it to bandcamp.

The prominent artist Hugo Daniel have gone beyond genre limitations to create a whole new musical world. Hugo Daniel grew up in a suburb of Kalmar Sweden, where crime and disturbance were common. Despite the negative stigma that the area carried with it, Hugo emphasizes that he personally was not directly harmed by his surroundings. His own struggles were on the inside, a whirlwind of dark thoughts and emotions that dragged him down into depression. In the end, however, he has so far always managed to find his way again. Hugo reflects that if it weren't for the strong family he has, he too might have ended up on a destructive path. Music entered Hugo's life at a young age. At the age of six he started playing the drums and in his teens he learned not only to sing but also to create music. It was around the age of 14-15 that Hugo began to give life to his own musical creations, and since then that trajectory has been his companion. Together with his producer Ole Söderberg, Hugo Daniel aim to break new ground in the alternative music world combining multiple of it's genres creating a hard hitting but also mellow sound. Hugo explains his thoughts on this matter below:

"If I where to enter the studio knowing I'd only be allowed to make one type of music I'd probably become miserable. In music you can't limit yourself. You've got to go with the flow and how you're feeling in that exact moment to make the music become genuine and real!" - Hugo Daniel.
