Hugo Allen grew up listening to Motown and Rock. He taught his self to play the guitar and piano. For a while, he was pursuant to becoming a film scorer, and attended college where he studied music theory and composition. However, after hearing Orbital's Halcyon & On & On, he changed his mind and went for electronic dance music.  Currently, he is the A&R and post-production manager for Tiefhaus Records.
