What do Fatboy Slim, Beyoncé, Emiliana Torrini and Atari Teenage Riot have in common? The answer is simple: They all have their tunes remixed by me. But I'm afraid, they didn't even notice ... ;-)

I tried to give the track some more deepness by adding a sort of dubby bassline. Made only 4th place in that competition - but I still think it's a real good shaker.

Eurythmics vs Trio - Sweet Da Da (Hugoy mashup)

This is a little remix of the tune "Suggestion" from the wonderful Washington hardcore band Fugazi. I excerpted the more calmer part of the song, made some hypnotic loops and gave it a little reverb/filter-treatment. Enjoy a different version.

Jonathan Richman - Rockinshoppincenter (hugoy remix)

This is my contribution to the Johan Agebjoern-remix-competiton. I stripped this wonderful tune down to some chords and some fragments of the lyrics, leaving over a rather dry version focussing on a bassline and some hiphop drums. So in the end you get some slow but hypnotic, kinda trancy downbeat, loungy stuff. Fits perfect to that voice!

This took part in  the Remix contest of the famous Berliner Philharmoniker. For my version of Mahlers Symphony I chose some samples, looped them, added some bass and drums and an organ, also I layered different parts of the symphony so that they build new sequences. Later on I gave it a shove by adding a little breakbeat. I tried to keep the original feeling of the track and simultaneously change it to some relaxing headz music and some uplifting dance tune. You can play it in your classic lounge or have some s...sensual intercourse to it. lol  Mahler would sure have loved it. Hope you like it, too!

I thought this voice needs more room so I lowered the tempo and turned the original uplifting electro-punkhouse to a slow grinddub - if that exists. ;-)

Took part in remix comp. well, it was not among the winners, but I still like this track.

I used mainly the stems provided by this remix competition site, but I've added a new bassline, a new beat, some organ and did rearrange some parts so that now we have a kind of pop bastardfunk - remember that in former times the term "R'n'B" had something to do with soul...

I gave this track a little arrangement treatment and some additional beat and - not to forget - some folky violins played by Eve Hase. I always liked the kind of surrealistic text and the hookline.

Just added some new beats and some rhythm guitar and rearranged some parts. Enjoy!

This is my version of Fatboy Slim's massive house tune "Love island". I cut off some notes from the original bassline and used some step filters on the strings, added some offbeat guitar and a lazy beat, so now we got some perfect downbeat version of it.
