The rising Trio VALENTIN, DAN BAY and LE RUBRIQUE are back with a breathtaking unplugged version of their song „Hi & Bye“.

This time they collaborated with the Berlin-based Cellist BISON ROUGE, who adds an intense melancholic depth to the original electronic ballad. Her Cello is accompanied by the unique sound of a handpan and ethnic instruments like the dunun, rainmakers as well as carefully chosen shakers. On top of that classic synth sounds and drum machines create a pulsing, modern atmosphere. 

The lyrics by singer VALENTIN describe the bittersweet emotional tug-of-war between letting go and holding on during the painful end of a romantic relationship. Everything is distilled into a brief moment of reunion "just to say bye," coupled with the realization that there will never truly be an end to this love.

Hard to decide but I think teleportation if I could take some friends with me.

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?

I need a lot of sleep and always try to get enough, even on festivals (one night I slept 12h at fusion). So I never had more than one day+night without sleep I think.
