Oh yeah... This time it gets deep. Our friend F.I.E.l.D.Y is back after his debut on our Planisphere of Dendera compilation. Only this time with a whole trilogy of tracks, all in collaboration with homie MindFoxx. If you don't know F.I.E.l.D.Y. yet, now it's about time. A Hammer in Slow. 
The title track Blurry Woods promises basically already a playful, dark thing. More than that is offered, though. Crisp, and so on point are the drums. Here and there a bit of LoFi, spooled schnick schnack and deepest basses enchant directly.
Sirens has a train forward and offers the necessary tension for a banger. Wonderful vocals hypnotize, while a subtle touch of Psy mixes in. Out the back, a crunchy synth complements, which reminds a bit of Anthony Rother in the 2000s. A great piece, very versatile and childlike playful, the two also show here what they can do.
With Falling Star comes a concentrated wave of energy with a gloomy note and progressive mood rolled in. Something of industrial character and minimal anomaly affects the dance legs with usual craziness. Dirty club sound, to put it in a nutshell.

Oh yeah… Diesmal wirds deep. Unser Freund F.I.E.l.D.Y ist zurück nach seinem Debüt auf unserer Planisphere of Dendera Compilation. Nur diesmal gleich mit einer ganzen Trilogie an Tracks, alle in Collaboration mit Homie MindFoxx. Wer F.I.E.l.D.Y noch nicht kennt, jetzt wird es spätestens Zeit. Ein Hammer in Slow. 
Der Titelsong Blurry Woods verspricht ja im Grunde schon eine verspielte, düstere Sache. Mehr als das wird jedoch gebote. Knackig, und sowas von on point sind die drums. Hier und da etwas LoFi, verspulten schnick schnack und tiefste Bässe verzaubern direkt.
Sirens hat einen zug nach vorne und bietet die nötige Spannung für einen Knaller. Wundervolle Vocals hypnotisieren, während eine dezente Note Psy mitmischt. Hinten raus ergänzt ein knarziger Synth, welcher ein wenig an Anthony Rother in den 2000ern erinnert. Ein tolles Stück, sehr vielseitig und kindlich verspielt, zeigen die beiden auch hier was sie können.
Mit Falling Star kommt eine geballte Energiewelle mit düsterer Note und progressiver Stimmung angerollt. Etwas von Industriellem Charakter und minimaler anomalie wirkt sich mit gewohnter verrücktheit auf die Tanzbeine aus. Dreckiger Clubsound, um es kurz zu fassen.

Nadav Dagon joined the Love Foundation Family about two years ago. He was one of main driving forces in bringing love to Israel and has played countless of live shows in the name of love, all over the world. Now it is his time for a different contribution with his tribal ethnic track Ima Aba. This rework comes from the young talent @Feinheitsbrei from Dresden. He already gifted us a beautiful own track in June and gave Nadav's track now a retouch that gives the whole track more of a club feeling. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

A very special treat reached me just after midnight today. Usually, Aka-Tapes podcasts are followed for days, meticulously analyzed before they go online, but in this case, I don't want to deprive anyone of this pearl of a diverse mix longer than necessary.

Lazy Hazy, the very talented creator of this almost 3-hour set, has told me that he has used many older tracks that he has wanted to record in a set for quite some time. Since he prefers to concentrate on live performance rather than making podcasts, it is a great pleasure for me that Aka-Tapes has just received this great set.

We met @luimafuta thanks to our friends from @downvienna at a wild party at Fluc in Vienna in 2019 . We spend some nice days together and feel in love with his live set. When Jonas aka @KlangDruide then send us " A Spoon full of honey" as release proposal earlier this year, we directly had to think of Lui and knew this would be a great match. Lui took his friend Puste along with his trumpet and out came this beauty of a track. Due to Corona we could not enjoy their live performance at Klunkerkranich last Saturday the 14.03, but we hope the song puts a smile on your face where ever you are right now. 

As always with Hug Records 50% of the profit raised with this track are donated to the Water Project from @Love-Foundation. The other 50% are split equally between Artist and Label.

KlangDruide - A Spoon Full Of Honey (Lui Mafuta, Puste Remix)

Thomas aka @thomas-gaarthuis is a Dutch musician that is living in the picturesque Haarlem. He has been producing for many years and made a beautiful remix for us in the very first month of our existence. He is also an avid supporter of LF Amsterdam and we are thankful that he agreed to add his own production to our releases from this year. The title Rompompom came up when Thommie was exploring vocal elements to add to the track.

As for the remix; last year Thommie remixed 'Red Dust' for @theoddness, so this moment was perfect to do it the other way around. Happy to have The Oddness remix Rompompom.

Monkyman and Love Foundation is a love story that already started a year ago. Due to the pandemic we did not manage to bring it together on the dancefloor so far, but it is only a matter of time till that happens.

In order to deepen the relationship between us anyways, we created a beautiful EP around this track, with remixes by the Oddness, Lente and Ouhana.
