This has been an incredible year for the residents of Imagine Island, and over the course of this year, we've welcomed several newcomers to our island who have helped us grow and develop.
And to celebrate these changes that have taken place this year, we decided to reward the survivors who most participated in activities on our beloved island.
We've reserved a special corner on our mural, put up some shelves, and made wax sculptures of each award-winning producer's face.

GRAMMY-winning producer and one third of electronic trio NERO, Joseph Ray, announces thrilling new single ‘Cos of You’.

Joseph Ray’s ‘Cos of You’ showcases his production prowess, featuring swelling leads and rolling deep percussion. The artwork for the single borrows from the iconic 90s UK nightlife photography of Dave Swindells and hints at the influence behind Joseph Ray’s signature sound; the pulsating energy of UK house and jungle.  The track was road-tested by Joseph Ray to a heaving crowd at Anjunadeep’s sold out label takeover of iconic venue Printworks London.

This latest release comes off the back of two well-received 2022 singles released via Anjunadeep, ‘Changing Lanes’ and ‘Inhibitions’, that have amassed over 850k streams across DSP’s and garnered support from the likes of Gorgon City, Tinlicker and Qrion. This is in addition to Joseph’s 2021 collaborative album ‘Leave the Bones’, written and recorded with Haitian band Lakou Mizik and celebrated by the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM, Billboard, and The Times. ‘Cos of You’ is out March 3 via Anjunadeep.

Next up for Ellum Audio is a powerful new remix from Alinka of 'Addicted,' a standout track from Madben's recent Troisième Sens LP.

French techno titan Madben took things to the next level with his latest album, a multi-genre work that both bangs on the dance floor but also follows an intriguing narrative arc. It comes after many years of shaping the underground and releasing on the likes of Laurent Garnier's Scan X’s label.

Ukraine-born but Berlin-based remixer Alinka crafts hard-hitting sounds for the likes of Rekids and Live at Robert Johnson. She does so with a penchant for weirdness and influences from Chicago and Detroit while DJing at cult clubs Berghain/Panorama Bar, Circoloco and Smart Bar. Here she flips 'Addicted' into a pulsating and sweaty house thumper. The elastic bass and snapping hits are run through with warm synth stabs, spraying acid and a loopy vocal bringing extra sleaze up top to ensure the floor goes wild.

The release also features the original single for those who missed it first time around. These are two all-conquering house tracks destined to make an indelible impact.

The Trip's "Perfect Moderation" EP on Tessellate is a release that blends elements of 90s house, UK prog, and to great effect. The Trip's unique sound and style will appeal to the dancefloor heads. Perfect Modulation features four tracks that showcase their lush warm production.

"A Bit Spooky," sets the tone with its 909 groove and cut vocal work. "For The Record" follows with its driving beat and classic melodic lines, while "Fantazia" channels a slightly dreamy vibe that pulls you into a different headpsace. Closing the EP "Boom Operator," a track with industrial grade dancability.

The Trip's "Perfect Moderation" EP has already caught the attention of Paramida, who has played two of the tracks on Radio 1. This is a testament to the EP's fresh sound and approach to music. Releasing this June 9th.

“krypt. vol2 is the second instalment of my ‘krypt’ EP series. It’s a mixtape-like EP, named after a ‘crypt’ (underground vault holding the remains of a person); in this case it’s my musical vault with several new + old tracks I’ve had in my unreleased catalogue. It touches various genres like the previous one, from garage stuff to a bit faster house, to slowed down nu-disco. I rarely get inspired by current music, most of the time I’m listening to records at least 15-20 years old but wondering how they would sound if they were made today.

The EP also features two songs (Never Enough, L.U.V.) with my own lead vocals, which a first for my releases thus far. I really enjoy making longer music projects which is why I’ve always gravitated towards LPs and albums, as a producer and a listener. It allows you to dive in a bit deeper in the mind of the creator and see where their emotions lie across a longer body of work. A single often doesn’t have enough power to allow you to see behind the curtain.”
