2021 was a stellar year for David Herrlich. Introducing himself to the music industry he was handpicked to remix the likes of Piem on Cr2, Marco Faraone and Matroda & Bleu Clair.

Ending last year with a release on deadmau5’s ‘hau5trap’ label, we now welcome David Herrlich with open arms to HUGS, dropping his next vocal house number ‘Thinking’.

Providing house music in its purest form, ‘Thinking’ uses emotive tones to create an almost haunting and hypnotising feel. Matched with powerful gospel vocals, the track pushes the envelope whilst keeping things traditional.

So, being in a lockdown these past few days has given me an opportunity to finally get this idea of a remix done, something I have always wanted to give a go to. It ended up I was positively surprised with the results I got so I decided to put it up as a free download to let everyone hear it - and also to try and help make the current scenario a little bit better with some new free music. 

I've always felt like Billie's "bury a friend" style echoes a lot with what I want to put forward as my musical identity, so it was only natural that I felt the urge to give this track my own touch as soon as I heard it for the first time. So here it finally is!
