Cut Out was recorded on the Rocking Desk, Simon Berz’ extended drum set that includes piezo microphones, loudspeakers and effects. Berz plays his instrument with an array of modified drum sticks to evoke electroacoustic sounds, effect patterns and a broad variety of feedbacks.

The amplification allows close-up views of the sounding surfaces and structures, while the microphones do not only pick up the sounds played, but also the environment.The Rocking Desk embraces several sound spheres: traditional drum sounds, microscopic details and tonal feedbacks.The 50 loops included reveal a small fragment of the Rocking Desk’s sonic dimensions. The cover images were created by Simon Berz by drumming paint on to the paper while his loops were performed on three turntables.

CW/A is the live project from long-time friends and studio partners Thomas Feriero and Francesco Leali. Accomplished musicians in their own right (with their Avatism & Clockwork aliases), they joined forces in 2013 to begin anew and take the act of performance into the club. Since their inception, the duo has forged a unique path through performances at Sonar, Exit, Audioriver, DGTL and Fabric whilst releasing on Vakant, M_REC and their own Parachute Records. Hula Honeys - another label for *emotronic sunshine* based in Zürich, Switzerland. 
We aim to provide your musical reproduction devices with special, intense, true school, open minded, imaginative and inspired music.

The Hula Honeys are a bunch of kids in the heart of tidy Switzerland, messing around with music, rather than drugs or large vehicles. They've gone the natural way: they've partied hard, they've had monumental plans and other silly ideas. Finally, 2007 was the year to go pro and make real life plans for that thing called label.  
Hula Honeys focusses on releasing locally anchored music, with loose musical connections to the electronic spheres. These could be loud, aiming at your peaktime thrills. But they also might be quiet and thoughtful, deep or crackled. The Honeys will promise a lot and maybe stay truthful to their ideas of music: true school rave, a broad musical horizon, open ears and open hearts.
