Since coming together in the summer of 2009 Sorry State have been hitting the scene hard and fast. With a combination of old school hardcore and crossover punk influenced by bands such as D.R.I., S.O.D., and Suicidal Tendencies, Sorry State consistently brings a high energy, in your face style, which has been compared to sounding as heavy as a dump truck falling from the Empire State Building, while still keeping a good natured and fun atmosphere. The band has been received very well and has helped Sorry State in gaining a respectable following throughout California and beyond. 
 
Averaging over 100 shows a year has gained Sorry State a solid and loyal following. Sorry State has shared the stage with such acts as D.R.I., Ill Repute, Discharge, Channel 3, Fang, Agnostic Front, Negative Approach, Stalag 13, Fear, Dr. Know, Slapshot, and have been on many high profile shows including The Punk Rock Picnic, and Gnarmageddon Fest.

Over the years the band recorded the "Hook Hands" and "Last Ride" E.P.'s  and the "No Hard Feelings" L.P.. Each  was met with excellent magazine, online and fanzine reviews which helped in gaining access to a broader base of fans and garnered regular airplay on various underground and college radio stations both foreign and domestic. 

In 2014 the band released the "Protect and Serve" L.P. Which was followed up in early 2015 with the release of the "Vacation" E.P.  With confirmed East Coast and Mid-West tour dates for the summer and spring , Sorry State continues to play extensively to an ever growing collection of both older punks that still remember the band from the earlier years, to a new generation of kids that have taken Sorry State as their own.
