Dirty Public are a 4 piece guitar based band hailing from the heavenly town of Trowbridge in Wiltshire. We write our own tunes which take inspiration from the best bands from the last 50 years, brought up to date by 4 handsome fellas! Our songs are generally quite simple and hopefully catchy, we try to vary the mood and style of our music.

Influences in the band are varied from blues and folk, through to punk, hip hop and heavy rock. We all love music and admire so many bands from all eras of musical history. We draw on all these influences whilst aiming to write original and interesting songs. Here's a small list of favourites.....Beatles, Stones,Oasis,  Roses, White Stripes, Nirvana, T-Rex, Bowie, RHCP, Fleetwood Mac, Sex Pistols, Doors, Seasick Steve, Jimi Hendrix (wish we could play like him haha) Pink Floyd, Ramones, Buzzcocks, Neil Young, Bob Dylan.....the list goes on forever really!!! Different music for different times and activities!     

Building up a following in the south west, Dirty Public have played in Bristol and Bath, as well as Bradford on Avon and Midsommer Norten. Already this year we've enjoyed festival slots at both The Woolley Festival in BOA and The Stones Cross fest in MSN. Now with a consistent line up we can push things FORWARD!!
