All aboard the ‘Ark’: Two by two, four by four, whatever… Whichever way you want to board, the doors of this great vessel are open and Monaberry bossmen Super Flu are the proud captains.

Their first full voyage of the year, ‘Ark’ is a stately piece of techno noir theatre designed to wrestle the choppiest of dancefloor seas. A multi-layered narrative laced with crispy arpeggios and strange otherworldly talkbox textures, it’s an oceanic titan that ploughs through the heaviest of elements with grace and majesty.

‘Doppt’ takes us to the next waymark on the map. Gently rhythmic from the moment its first shakers kiss your ears, we’re soon satiated with tightly plucked percussive elements, subtle humanised textures and a sense of momentum that’s tightly coiled with suspense and drama in a way that only Super Flu know how.

Finally our feet touch terra firma with the mysterious afro house maverick Hyenah as he provides an earthy remix stampede. Flexing between African rhythms, powerful 4/4s and a tantalising breakdown salvo, it’s yet another sterling revision from the masked beast… And another exceptional Monaberry trip from the one and only Super Flu. Monaberry #46 – Super Flu – Doppt

Sincopat presents two of the best kept secrets of the year: Zurich based DJ and producer Jimi Jules remixes Upercents Pulsacions, and on the other hand, French talent Damon Jee offers a new version of AFFKTs Parafernalia.

Parafernalia was originally released at the end of 2017 included in the AFFKT Pentode EP. This release also includes huge remixes by Audiojack and Citizen Kain, but Sincopat head honcho still had a bullet in his gun. Parisian guy Damon Jee created some weeks later this incredible dancefloor killer with the Parafernalia samples. By his side, Pulsacions was included in the Upercents Tretze EP released also last year and offering top remixes by Nick Warren and Blond:ish. Now the Swiss unpredictable talent Jimi Jules gives his best presenting a groovy and hypnotic slice of electronic music.

Next up for Maeve we welcome the very talented Italian duo, Underspreche to the label, delivering a 4 track EP including a remix from label founder The Drifter. 

Underspreche first caught our attention back in 2016 with the release of their mini album "Invito Alla Danza" on Optimo Trax, a record that possesses the captivating mixture of ethno vocals & sounds with a raw house dynamic. From there they continued to impress with their unique twist on many prominent House and Techno jams through their Experiments series. We are thrilled to have worked with them to bring you this EP and who better to describe the record than Underspreche themselves...

"We think every kind of art has an important role in our lives because of the magical power it has inside. Positive art can be profound, produce questions, show us new perspectives, transform feelings and connect people telepathically. If this is not magic??!! Taking inspiration from Alejandro Jodorowsky's work we did our own “music act” with this record, trying to ease our inner sorrow through musical poetry and freeing our voice. Inspiration from other cultures always help develop our work which as ever, is fuelled by a deep love for what we do."

Exclusive Ivory & Auggië  'Basic Rhythm'

Milan creatives and VOLT-residents Daniel Tagliaferri and Simone Gianoncelli rather known under their artist monikers Ivory and Auggië teamed up for MoBlack Records' next strike of the year and deliver the single 'Basic Rhythm'. Having released on labels such as Borders of Light or Buttress Auggië's definitely one of the artist to look out for in 2020 while Ivory can call labels such as microCastle, Frau Blau, Isolate or Kompakt his home and is already a step ahead of his musical companion for this release. However, the artist duo produced a dance floor-oriented take that unites Auggië's preference for metal and industrial-sounding elements as well as Ivory's driving and lush bass line in combination with a catchy lead-synth that undergoes a glitch-treatment from time to time to break open the aforecreated musical harmony and evoke a new momentum in the artists' production. 'Basic Rhythm' focuses, as the title suggests, on few elements, which solidly put together come up with an inevitable groove that sweeps tornado-like across the floor.

Ivory & Auggië's single 'Basic Rhythm' will be released on MoBlack Records on January 31st, 2020.

Los Suruba and their record label Nazca Records present their eighteenth release called ‘Alpha’ EP produced by Roberto Carlos, better known as Thimble. From Spain, he will captivate every listener with this release that comes out throughout three fantastic tracks that intrigue from the first minute.

NAZCA Records was born after internalising the connection between the advanced world of the Viracochas, beings from other planets and the archaic world of the Nazcas, lovers of music, dance and art in general.

This new EP consists of three songs. The first one, 'War Pipes' combines a futuristic and mechanical beat with a cool vocal that sound like out of this world.
'Aletella' climaxes in powerful groove caressed by a synth melody and an arpeggio that make each silhouette stand out on the dance floor. Finally,
'Divided' is a broken beat track that catches you in this futuristic combo. The electronic synths keep your feet on the ground while the intensity grows allowing the arpeggios and sequences to merge with your senses letting the vocals direct your thoughts.
