Yatagarasu, Ikenaga's new EP, is a sonic journey inspired by the legendary three-legged raven of Japanese mythology—a divine messenger who guides lost travelers and announces the rebirth of light amidst darkness.

Divided into three tracks, the EP opens with "Yatagarasu," which spreads the wings of this myth to guide the listener through the first steps of this journey. Following, "Faith" evokes the persistence of those who press forward even without seeing the entire path, sustained only by confidence in their own quest.

Finally, "Lost in Diorama Paradise," a collaboration with Torstol, delves into an illusory universe, a paradise constructed like a fragile model—beautiful enough to confuse, but incapable of imprisoning those who hear the raven's call. In the flight of the Yatagarasu, faith, myth, and illusion intertwine, reminding us that we must traverse the unreal to find the map back to ourselves.

[pt-br] Yatagarasu, novo EP de Ikenaga, é uma travessia sonora inspirada no lendário corvo de três patas da mitologia japonesa — mensageiro divino que guia viajantes perdidos e anuncia o renascer da luz em meio à escuridão.

Dividido em três faixas, o EP abre com “Yatagarasu”, que estende as asas desse mito para conduzir o ouvinte pelos primeiros passos dessa jornada. Na sequência, “Faith” evoca a persistência de quem segue adiante mesmo sem ver o caminho todo, sustentado apenas pela confiança na própria busca.

Por fim, “Lost in Diorama Paradise”, colaboração com Torstol, mergulha num universo ilusório, um paraíso montado como uma maquete frágil — belo o bastante para confundir, mas incapaz de aprisionar quem ouve o chamado do corvo. No voo do Yatagarasu, fé, mito e ilusão se entrelaçam, lembrando que é preciso atravessar o irreal para encontrar o mapa de volta a si mesmo.
