Next up is a formidable 2-tracker from Kuukou favourite Lluis Ribalta. With previous releases on Suara, SayWhat Rec, Eclipse Recordings and DSR Digital - the Spanish producer sets the crosshairs firmly on the floor and delivers 'In Spite Of You'.

The title track kicks the record off with a monstrous crossover that fuses the propulsive, driving energy of Trance and the raw, mechanical power of Techno. 

A rough and rounded kick drum hammers at the chest of the track, driving hot, adrenaline-saturated signals across the dance floor at high pressure. Synths pop with palpable power and grit as micro-breaks allow chinks of light to sneak in while an addictive, claustrophobic vibe develops. 

The breakdown finally opens out, allowing a brief moment to breathe and an inpouring of lucent emotion before drums gallop back in and the shutters come down again. 

'Olympus' follows up with some masterful energy manipulation. A pulsing sub lays out a bed for syncopated hats and frenzied stabs that build in layers before the track sinks into a cosmic hole. Caustic blobs of acid burn through, carrying the track to its conclusion, capping off a direct and hyper-focused EP that will keep bodies pinned to the dance floor throughout.
