Another AFX track from my personal top-10 got remixed by the master himself!

I always love to play the original vinyl 45RPM version at 33RPM +8% (sounds so much more funky to my ears), so I recreated the same effect for the remix.

The subtle yet audible effect of the RIAA-correction curve when playing a vinyl record at a different speed was emulated by applying the the RIAA pre-emphasis filter to the original recording of the remix, and applying the reverse filter curve after the recording was pitched down.
A small amount of multiband expansion was applied before pitching down to  compensate for the transient loss due to the 192kbps MP3 encoding of the original file
