Touch Of Class Records proudly presents, KMLN(pronounced“Kameleon”)a duo comprised of Italian producer/multi - instrumentalist, Christopher Tooker, and Canadian producer/fashion designer, Shawna Hofmann.

True to their name, these chameleons can adapt to any sound whether it be a prime time or sunrise set, the artist within these two delivers through live instruments and syncopation, where organic meets the modern and the future meets the past.

TOCR presents a four-song, all original composition from the talented and inspiring duo called “Be Here.” Each song is a masterpiece in its own, comprising of vocal and instrumental performances by Worth, Rocka, N.I.M. and Freddi Price.

The EP’ s lead track ‘ Be Here’ is a passionate existential vocal by Christopher Worth in the tone of R&B singing about the power of slowing down your mind and being present in the moment. “Be Here”, crosses between a dancefloor track but stays true to classic songwriting format. The subterranean bass and heart pounding kicks hold the groove while the soul infused organs and synths carry you to a thoughtful place, driving the intimacy of emotions.

Following the lead single is this summer's dancefloor shocker, ‘ ProNoia’ -- a tribute to the gritty stripped down essentials of old school deep house. Shamari Rocka’ s vocal contains tone’ s of comedy, sexiness and a light but precise call out to the female figure in his imagination.

Then, enter the otherworldly dimensions of, ‘ Bunzi’ -- a sonic journey into a land of fantasy, where mystery and magic reign. Follow the bracing vocals of a woman welcoming and tickling you with delight and washing your worries away, leaving you relaxed and thoughtless. Seriousness and passion follow, the instrument Sand Rabab opens the portal to an uncharted territory, grounding you and allowing you to once again feel your body.

The final piece in this timeless musical puzzle is, ‘ Sirena’ featuring Freddi Price. This song tells the tale of the impossible love scene between a sailor lost at sea and a mermaid, calling him to be with her forever beneath the sea. Vocals and trumpet delivered by the multi-talented Freddi Price of the legendary Extra Action Marching Band from Oakland, California.

The “Be Here EP” is set for a end of summer release which will carry you along side the beautiful sun as it rises and sets wherever your travels take you. Two incredibly beautiful videos will accompany this release, one for ‘ Be Here’ and the other for ‘ ProNoia,’ premiering beginning to mid August.

For a few reasons I was never fully satisfied with the original, and never played it out much. I felt like this track deserved another run, so I gave it a hug and a squeeze, a new bass line, and started playing it in my sets again. 
The response has been amazing so we've decided to re-release it as SKYWALKER V.2.0

@hugrecords: The original track was created by the Malinese artist Luka Productions. @danielzuur aka @krautmusica discovered it while being on one of his journeys through the unexplored areas of Soundcloud and he fell in love. He showed us his first raw remix and it was also for us love on first listen. So we got in contact with the artist Luka Guindo and he agreed to let us use the song. 50% of the profit from this track will go to support Luka Productions in Mali and the other 50% will be donated straight to the Water Project of Love Foundation in Kenia.

Paradise Moment is probably one of my most coherent tracks so far, merging diversity into unity for awakening states of emotion and realisation. When I listen to this song I feel connected to nature, to love, to my environment, to ancient rituals, to the sake of music, to become myself. Please share it to anyone who might enjoy it. Feel free to use this track within your own set or whatever (non commercial creative commons licence), just leave the name and link if possible for fairness - tracks like this can take up 60 hours of work easily. The recording of the birds in the background was done by myself in the countryside in Sicily.

Jeder Mensch trägt ihn in sich. Mal vernimmt man seine Stimme lauter, mal ist sie kaum wahrzunehmen. Am liebsten plappert er die ganze Zeit. So oft es geht kommentiert, bewertet und urteilt er über den Moment und das jetzt. Besonders in stressigen Situation kommt er unzweifelhaft zum Vorschein. Dann flüstert es in deinem Kopf, du kannst das nicht, du bist es nicht Wert, gib einfach auf ...
Die rede ist vom, wie ich ihn hier nennen möchte, Egoverstand. 
Dieser Vollzeit Kommentator ist selten bis nie positiv gestimmt. Er ist anders als das Verstandesdenken weniger ein Werkzeug, als vielmehr ein Saboteur von Offenheit und Optimismus. Wohin die Reise führt, wenn man ihm folgt, weiß ich nicht. Depressionen, mindestens permanent schlechte Laune, sind eine plausible Konsequenz.
Es ist ein Kampf der Tag um Tag aufs neue ausgefochten werden muss. Mal gelingt es besser, mal weniger gut ihn im Zaum zu halten. 
Doch so wie für alles im Leben, gibt es auch in dieser Angelegenheit Mittel und Wege, um dem Herr zu werden. Eine simple und zugleich auch sehr herausfordernde Methode ist ihn einfach reden zu lassen und die Position eines neutralen Beobachters einzunehmen. Meiner Erfahrung nach wird er dann verstummen. Nur um kurz darauf wieder mit dem flüstern zu beginnen. Je öfter man es macht, desto länger hält der Effekt der Stille an. Selbstverständlich kann man das Ego auch mit anderen Tricks überlisten und zum Schweigen bringen. Wie auch immer man es bewerkstelligt, es lohnt sich. Man geht leichter und unbeschwerter durchs Leben, sieht die Welt werturteilsfrei und möglicherweise ein Stück mehr, wie sie tatsächlich ist. Zumindest hat muss man sich nicht mehr ständig, mit sich selbst herumschlagen. Der Weg zum Ziel mag lang und schwierig erscheinen, doch bereits das beschreiten dieses Pfades ist gewinnbringend. Am Ende erwartet Dich Ruhe und Gelassenheit, die dann durch Dich in die Welt und zu anderen Menschen getragen wird. Das auch sie beginnen der kleinen nervigen Stimme im Kopf, auf gut Deutsch das "Maul zu stopfen".

Hunter the Gatherer is dedicated to the search for eclectic global sounds, compiling them together, and creating a journey of prayer for the dancer. 

As a dancer and being versed in 5 Rhythms I intentionally curate journeys from that perspective. A way for the body to express all the different parts and for the emotions to be felt and alchemized.  

I bring my love of different sounds and my range of different electronic textures and genres to create a colorful landscape to journey through. 

Any time I play for others it is a deep honor and I use it as an offering to our temples so that we can express our prayers and move stuck energy that no longer serves us. 
I play for those who came before and will come after me. 

Creating my dream by playing music for others. :)
