So to say thank you for everyone who’s been listening for the last 100,000 plays I’m uploading a truly epic ‘lost’ track, GusGus ‘David (King Unique Remix)’ from 2003. The story behind why it didn’t come out is probably best forgotten, but the dispute had absolutely nothing to do with GusGus themselves. Don’t want to start any rumours ;)
As Soundcloud is particularly about letting you hear exclusive &amp; unreleased stuff I’m uploading three versions – the final one and a couple of earlier work-in-progress versions. We couldn’t decide on the best drop so we made two; then we still couldn’t decide so we ended up mixing them together – anyway, for those who are interested here are both the work-in-progress versions, exactly as we bounced them off at the end of the studio day 8 years ago.
Obviously it sounds rather dated now, long after electro-house &amp; glitchy techno have made all these sounds very common so enjoy it as a little slice of history :)
P.S. I would love to offer this as a free download but as a remix the song rights still belong with GusGus - so maybe go &amp; nag them? :)

Former gospel singer Chris Willis is well known as the powerful voice behind many of David Guetta’s chart-topping club anthems including, ‘Getting Over You’, ‘Love Is Gone’, ‘Would I Lie To You’, ‘A Little More Love’ & ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’. For the new single ‘Top of the World’, Chris teams up with New York house music legend Lenny Fontana for an uplifting and soulful disco house anthem.
No stranger to crossover success himself, Fontana’s first crossover hit record ‘What You Need’ (Defected Records/Ministry Of Sound), under the name Powerhouse Feat.
