The big bad factory near the end of the game, the Wicked Works theme is meant to be intense and industrial. The original track made heavy use of distorted electric guitar, which had to be totally re-accomidated with FM synthesis.

Falling In Love

I finished playing through King of Cards the other day and got into kind of a sentimental mood about Shovel Knight, so I made this little cover to sort of express that feeling. Plague of Shadows is probably my least favorite out of the four campaigns but I still have a massive soft spot for it 'cuz the romance plot made me all warm and fuzzy inside in 8th grade.
Bossa Nova is a really fun genre to make; I often find less is more with this kind of music so I didn't go for anything too crazy expansion-wise.
