Truth Telling in Walyalup is a collection of stories from Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians that were shared in local resident’s backyards all around Walyalup/Fremantle. The stories were reflections about Australia's shared colonial history and imagining a better future toward reconciliation. These stories were produced in partnership with and made possible by generous funding from the City of Fremantle. A republic in decline finds itself slipping into fascism in the midst of a public dispute over trade tariffs. When Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi are dispatched to resolve the Trade Federation blockade of the peaceful world of Naboo, they begin an epic adventure that will bring them to the sands of Tatooine, where Qui-Gon encounters a strange young boy that he is convinced as the power to bring balance to the force: Anakin Skywalker.

At time of recording, it was not ranked on the list of the best or worst movies of all time on the Internet Movie Database.

404. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (#---)

When I was a little kid in the late 1980s and early 1990s we only had one channel on the TV. And every day at 18:00 there was a half hour with childrens programming. This programming slot always had a recognizeable vignette at the start. Around Christmas time they sometimes changed the vignette to one that was specific for the holidays. A few years ago I suddenly stumbled over it online, and despite it being at least 30 years since I had seen it or even thought of it I remembered everything. I am an incredibly nostalgic person so it was a strong experience. I also remembered the music from it very vividly. It was a simple melody with piano and acoustic guitar, and it fit the pictures very good. I think this was also the period in time where I heard Oxygene IV for the first time. I remember being a little kid, sitting in front of the radio and thinking "this must be what space sounds like". I had no idea what it was, who made it or where to find it in order to hear it again. But I never forgot it. And in 2007 I finally found out. A few weeks ago I suddenly thought it would be fun to recreate the old song using some of the same instruments (in VST form) that we hear on Oxygene, and here is what we ended up with. The thumbnail picture is a screenshot from the vignette. It is made with the Eminent V 2.1 reaktor ensemble, Minimogue VA, Rhythmus, Tal U-NO 62, Polysix, Tapeotronic and Replika.

I just want to tell you all that I appreciate you so much!
I absolutely love writing for all of you, as well as singing. I’ve always loved the reactions people have to my music; whether it be laughter, amazement, disgust, or sadness. I love every reaction because it communicates how I’m doing and motivates me to keep writing and striving to have that different sound. I don’t heavily edit my music, mostly because I don’t know how (lol), but also because this is MY sound. I like proving the point that you don’t need oodles of money to put yourself out there and be successful, especially in my town. I have left up recordings of me singing into my iPod generation 4 because even though they are T E R R I B L E, I absolutely love and cherish them. They are where I came from, how I started, my progress. You can hear how over the years my voice has changed, my confidence has grown, and overall, how I’ve grown as a person. I’ve always loved performing and entertaining others, and I plan to do this for as long as I’m alive. Even if I never make it big time, I’m overwhelmed by the internet’s reach that I STILL will make it into 3-5 minutes of someone’s life.  Thank you so much for supporting me, or hating me. You are what shapes me.

My musical journey started back in the late 90's, i was flat out into trance, spinning vinyl and burning up the wheels of steel. I spent my mid to late twenties in London when funky house music was alive and thumping. I got to play at some wicked bars and sweat dripping house parties with some incredible people. Now days, it's spinning tunes across multiple genres. Whilst trance is still right up there, I've spread my wings into progressive trance, tech house, techno, jive / disco / funky / groove / progressive house.  Love a dark dirty solid bass beat ranging between 120bpm through to 145bpm. That's the sweet spot 🤙Now living in New Zealand and always up for a gig with like minded people!
