About MØND

Carolina Mond (MØND) with more than 10 years in the music and entertainment industry has participated as a session artist, composer and vocal arranger for different artists in multiple genres as well as films, commercials, TV series etc.

She is also part of a female collective and recently also a record label: WOMXN and WOMXN Records; a strong and solid collective of women dedicated to increase and support female talent behind the decks.

As a downtempo and organic house producer she debuted in 2022 under the label Sirin Music, sub-label of the legendary berliner label BAR25.

Our Hupupa has spend some days around the seaside bringing lovely vibes and music; meanwhile the summer is moving towards the end, we are delight to share a live mix from our fratello Ka:lu recorded at Alma Vibes, seaside resort located on east Italian cost, during an Hupupa's showcase.

About Ka:lu

Luca Cataldo (Ka:lu) is a multidisciplinary artist that focuses his works on audiovisual installation, big projections, vjing, music production and djing. Through his arts, as in music, he always try to express the believe into sounds as universal language, a way to get in meditation, a tool to understand where we are coming from, where we are, where we are going. I decided to show the entire experience a live act could give, including a lot of mistakes (which I love about live music).
This is not a live SET, this is a live ACT, using midi, vst and loops, not a single whole track was used during this session.

PS: I made a surprise dj set on sunday the same weekend and stage. It was so secret that it is not recorded.

Here's Oceania's second encounter with the series, made by producer Moontide, who in this mix included a few of the new tracks he's written and a couple he did for a film score. 

As a clear intention for the mix, he chose the theme of global healing. It's a storyline narrated from the view point of mother Earth looking back on her planet engulfed in flames, there are spoken word pieces by 4 different women (Jeanne Lee, Severin Cullis, Greta Thunberg & Ayme Doran) throughout to narrate the storyline. He recorded it in his studio whilst almost the whole state he lives in is on fire, triggering a lot of protests to do with climate change. So this is an artistic contribution to support the message.
