Darius described how Return To Jericho came to fruition: “We were chatting at the beginning of lockdown about starting a collab and decided that we wanted to make something with depth & soul. We’re really happy with these tracks & super happy that Damian has snapped them for Crosstown Rebels.”

Bushwacka echoed a similar sentiment: “When I checked out what Darius had been releasing on Moxy, straight away I felt that a collaboration would work, and work it has. This could be the first of many.”

The title track leads the way, opening with ethereal synth rolls and resonant kick-hat combos. Saharan-like vocals marry up next to a pacey, 4x4 bassline whilst atmospheric pulses march on in the background. Akkabi Blue takes on a more-stripped back feel, as minimal percussion cascades into a breakbeat-inspired breakdown to form a late-night dancefloor cut.

Darius Syrossian has been at the forefront of UK electronic music for more than a decade. A prolific producer, the Moxy Muzik head has released several standout EPs on the label, including Fuego and Harlem Nights to name a few. He has also welcomed several industry-heavyweights to the imprint in recent times, including East End Dubs, Seb Zito and many more besides.

Bushwacka has remained a firm fixture in the global dance scene since first cutting his teeth in the acid era of the late eighties. Regularly reinventing himself, his production catalogue boasts releases on Ultra, CTR and Get Physical as well as a host of other industry-defining labels, whilst his legendary residency at London nightclub The End has given the British-mainstay a lifelong legacy.

Hot Summer Jams is the latest compilation to land on Hot Creations, due out in September. 
Now in its fourth year, the popular UK label has made its name putting out sun-kissed club music. Following 2012's Paradise Summer Sampler, this 14-track release will showcase a breadth of new and established talent affiliated with the imprint. Label boss Jamie Jones has also contributed, pitching in with cosmic dance floor cut "People From The Moon." The unmixed compilation will be available on CD, digitally and on two 12-inch samplers.

The second „LOVEiT“ press comes right in time for the festival season and for dusty basements too. SUOLCITY is a young producer from Stuttgart, the spot for house business again. Probably he felt it already as intern at „rocker 33“, the club such as Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson. How else could you explain the B-Side „Rush“, you had to feel this dubby, gritty bassline. 
Not hard enough - so maybe „Rush Harder“, you can have it all. But still, Stuttgart is heart and soul for some Hip Hop generations, the SUOLCITY is no exception here. The second track might be called/used as „Early Morning Jam“, but you can hear this jazzy attitude of some Hip Hop jams and you will love it. „November“ delivers great atmosphere with groovy chords and bumpy drums for your deep moments. Amsterdam based Luuk van Dijk is welcomed into the Hot Creations fold this July with his heavy-hitting Parallax E.P. Chicago production wizard DJ Skull is also on board to rework the B-side.

Title track Parallax is set to cause a serious stir at festivals and clubs alike this summer. The smattering of high-hats elevate the track as the space-like beeps and blips add another facet. On the flip, Dimension applies an ominous vocal stab as the bass rumbles — perfect for low ceiling basement raves. On the remix, DJ Skull adds a touch of Chicago class via some softer vocals, dubby chords and a pounding bass. At the tender age of 22, Luuk van Dijk has been signed to acclaimed labels such as VIVa Music, Roush, Food Music, Sanity and Lost Records. Championed by stalwarts such as Steve Lawler and Eats Everything, he has taken his sound to some of the world’s most prestigious events.

Ron Maney aka DJ Skull became known for being one of the first DJs to play the new sound coming out of Chicago, honing his craft at the infamous Music Box and Power Plant. Releasing records since the early 90s, he later launched his own labels Hypnotic Tones and Wax Candy Records. Recent releases have appeared on Chiwax, Domina Trxxx and Mentha Records.

Sidney Charles has mastered the art of high impact house music that comes with a signature sense of depth, melody and groove. That unique style has made the Hamburg-born DJ, producer and label boss one of the underground's most prominent names: last year was his busiest ever with multiple chart-topping releases, high profile support from Radio 1 and standout gigs across the world. In 2023, the proven tastemaker will focus on his already influential Heavy House Society label and launch its new residency at Watergate in Berlin.
The last year has seen Sidney make an indelible mark on the scene. He played in Ibiza at the likes of Amnesia, DC10 and Cova Santa. He played to large crowds across several South American countries and all over the US from Miami to Las Vegas to New York and LA. Years after his first breakout hit, Sidney continues to hit the top of the charts with his newest creations. In 2022 there were three separate number ones on three different labels in Beatport's genre charts. They came on his own label, Eastenderz and Hot Creations, while he has also signed to the likes of No Art, Locus, PIV and Do Not Sleep amongst many more.
Sidney's Heavy House Society is already a respected go-to outlet for solid and innovative house music. It mixes up releases from top-tier artists and well curated new school talents such as Kolter (aka Djoko), Luuk Van Dijk, Locklead, Madvilla, Luca Donzelli, M-High and many more. As well as a collab EP with Kolter in 2023, Sidney will also head up the label nights, Heavy House Society, under the famous LED ceiling of Berlin's cult club Watergate. He has solo EPs in the works for the label as well as Cécille Records, MicroHertz and PIV; and will get in the studio with East End Dubs. All this is proof that Sidney Charles is at the top of his game.
