Vélosonifiqué is a sonic representation of the ebbing and flowing journey that a cyclist embarks upon along the Greenway. Composed entirely of sampled bike sounds, the familiar sounds of bells and ticking spokes are warped and manipulated into new tones that portray the experience of cycling - speed, fatigue, and progress.

'In a wash of processed guitar and piano, audio recordings made in 2021 for other projects are repurposed, pressured and warped for August Underflow. The memory of the machine is compared to the memory of the human mind. The nature of data stored in both the mind and machinery is vulnerable to the corruption of external forces. If the human memory and machine fail, we only have now- immediately.'

August Underflow is an audiovisual collaboration, with featured visual art from Keesha Field. It was commissioned for Konzertprojekt's Sound Stories: Part 2 and was premiered at St. Stephen's Uniting Church in Sydney, 12th February 2022.
