We are pleased to welcome Survival & Silent Witness back to Dispatch for their next release, entitled the ‘Trust No One EP’. Featuring two incredible new tracks from the duo, the EP also includes remixes of 2013 “In From The Wild” album track, ‘Fletcher’. 

Rolling it out with decisive force and in signature style from the duo, two original tracks from Survival & Silent Witness kick off the EP. 

With a surge in energy capable of causing nothing short of carnage on the dancefloor, ‘Trust No One’ sets things off, in a clamoring exchange between mechanical entities. 

Building the intro in merciless, near apocalyptic fashion, ‘Cutter’ is the next to follow on the EP, as resounding low ends terrorize irrefutably beneath tightly chopped breaks.

Emerging from our ‘Fletcher’ remix competition as the overall winner, Slovakian based Minor Rain comes correct with a fantastically balanced re-work, retaining the musicality of the original, echoing the emotions over a dark, more stripped back core. 

Although only intending to release one winner, we had no choice but to select two runner-up submissions to be released in addition, upon hearing an array of top quality entries, with a thunderous re-fix by Depth Mode and a gritty 140 flip from Diecast.

Tinlicker strike again on Sotto Voce, their second release on Feed Me’s imprint takes things up a notch for 2015. Out exclusively on Beatport on the 14th April, and other platforms worldwide on the 28th April. The kaleidoscopic synth tinged 5-track EP “Into The Open”, is an epic journey from start to finish. The EP sees collaborations with Devries on the title track, and amazing euphoric, awe-inspiring vocals from Laura Louise on “Gazoline”.

This EP combines the hugely in-vogue modulating 80s synth-techno with the atmospherics expected from a Brian Eno project, backed by the thumping, crisp percussion, spanning across, spacious loose-limbed headphone pieces and tough, floor-focused club tracks. This innovative duo have sculpted a unique sound of their own, and made a home with the Sotto Voce family.

t's a bit of a clichéd thing to note that a new year marks a time for new incarnations but with what we feel is an exciting year ahead for our Friday night programming, we've set an objective to bring fresh blood to our platform - from already credible artists not yet a part of our programme to upcoming talent. Sebastian Weingartshofer falls under the latter. DJing under his Skankandbass guise - a name that is more notably affiliated with his fledgling drum & bass focused brand and Youtube Channel - Seb is beginning to make his way onto some pretty solid lineups. He's also something of an A&R extraordinaire for musical powerhouse MTA records, with whom he'll be playing as part of their club takeover in a few weeks.

In the first of 2 full CD length mixes dive into fresh tracks from Fred V & Grafix, Krakota, Logistics, Metrik, Urbandawn and an extra something special from no other than High Contrast! Med School have gone from strength to strength and with their 10th year on the horizon we get a taste of what’s to come with brand new music from Keeno, Anile and Whiney.

In the second hour we’re spoilt for choice with previously unreleased tracks from Nu:Tone, S.P.Y and the Gresham duo Nu:Logic. There are refreshing remixes in store including Diego Torres’ rework of the London Elektricity classic “Had A Little Fight” and the long awaited Logistics spin on Etherwood’s “Light My Way Home” featuring Eva Lazarus.

DLR - In all honesty i was never a huge Dispatch fan boy, not the best way to start I know, but bare with me. Perhaps it was because at the time I was feeling a harder style of dnb and music in general, and for whatever reason didn't pick up on the undeniably infectious vibes and style of the Dispatch releases at the time. This meant delving back into the history of the label to really discover what it was, and still is all about was challenging, interesting and helped rekindle my love for a scene which is without doubt one of the most special, creative and forward thinking scenes and genres in the World! Starting at the beginning with the early releases that were actually featured on Metalheadz at the time, and titled Dispatch 1-3, written and produced by the founders of the label Hidden Agenda, instantly you are thrown into a world of texture, musicality, creativity and generally amazing written, forward thinking dnb. This instantly got my memories flowing and the fire was blazing hard, in my room, on my own, with me, myself and, well me for company and about 60-70 flawless Dispatch Recordings tracks. That was it, the day was prearranged by the instant vibes that I felt as I began to put these tracks together. You know when things are good, when you are pretty much working in chronological order, but things fit and the energy is flowing, I got in the zone and started slamming these mixes together and all of a sudden was on a journey through the labels back catalogue, 7 hours later, and I had what was the original version of the mix! Needless to say i had the last laugh!… really though, it was an absolute pleasure to put the mix together, it's amazing how my perceptions changed as I slowly re-educated myself on some of the finest dnb know to man…! Oh, apart from any of those TC1 tracks, which could clearly do with a little bit of Octane & DLR knowledge and skill to help them match up to the masterpieces written by Hidden Agenda, Survival, Commix, NOS, Cern, Hybris, and of course DLR… Jokes aside, this is a mix that I want to become timeless, showcasing some ridiculous talent from across the globe, fully representing the spirit of the label, artists and of course Outlook Festival. This year will see another year of takeover in the Moat of the infamous Punto Christo fort near to Pula in Croatia. If you are new to this spectacle, get ready for something truly special!
