It all started when Chris stumbled into an underground rave in Jyväskylä in 1997. The DJ was playing jungle and the crowd was going wild. Inspired by the fast, funky and rugged beats Chris knew he had to get involved. Later that year he got a killer deal on a set of second hand turntables, and so began his journey into the depths of drum&bass.

Today Chris Robin is known as the DJ and promoter associated with some of the most prolific clubs and crews in Central Finland such as Dreadmark, Remedy, Wake-Up! and Vinylo. In 2013 he moved to Tampere and co-founded the Forms drum&bass club and its spin-off Forms radio. In the course of his career Chris has promoted events starring DJs such as Lenzman, Stray, Digital, Outrage, Kasra, Blu Mar Ten, June Miller, Redeyes, Inside Info, DJ Dizzy and many more.

Chris has always had a versatile sound in his DJ sets, and depending on the occasion, one can expect anything from deep, murky tunes to banging dancefloor rollers.

BIOGRAPHY:

Hustle Audio began life in February 2009 with James Green (Decade) and Phil Innes (Phil Hustle) teaming up to create an imprint that served as a base for Nottinghamshire and midlands producers and artists.

After gathering rapid pace in the scene, the label quickly spread it's wings worldwide. Many new signings followed resulting in a torrent of fresh beats. 

With numerous article features, great commercial and pirate radio exposure, a dedicated following of fans and producers alike, Hustle Audio has gained deserved respect amongst the highest ranks within Drum &amp; Bass.

We're here to provide what we think is a quality output, nothing else. No "philosophies", no pretentious ideals or stereotypical agendas, just solid music.

Now back in 2018 after a 5 year break, expect more music very soon!
