As ifffffff this is the last mixtape of 2016... Like where has the year even gone!? Anyway, it has without a doubt been the busiest and best year of my life so I just wanna say a quick little thank you to each and every person who has supported me and what I do. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know, love you all long time! Excited to see what 2017 is gonna bring... <3

This mix contains 18 tracks that I'm feeling and as always from a variety of genres. I'm rinsing some of these bangers on the dance-floor right now and the others I'm just absolutely in love with.

My mixtape's are my 80 minute journey of music, my way to explore, express and share my passion. From all sub genres of house music to my outro's which usually go deep and downtempo, another kind of music I listen to religiously.

Searching for the music and then making them literally takes me days and days but mixtape making is something I really love to do. I hope you enjoy them as much as I love making them!

French producer Armless Kid is set to have his biggest year to date in 2017, playing key international gigs and reaching a global audience with his productions thanks to a helping hand from his friends at Classic. A young self-taught artist who has been working the Paris house circuit for a little while with collectives like Copie Blanche, Xavier aka Armless Kid is right at home on Classic with his inventive "anything goes" approach to producing. Over just three tracks on ͚Jado Jador EP he covers synth-enhanced jacking grooves (in opener Loubar' Stars) featuring the diva tones of Queen Rose, heady BPM-cranked wildness on "BDX Biches Gang", finally finding a glorious middle ground with heavyweight syncopated beats and tight chords on "Road To Grand Champ". It's a real trip.

"After the success of their debut EP ‘001’, La Dune returns with a brand new compilation entitled the ‘Common Obsession’ EP. Jimmy Salmon, co-founder of the label, opens the release with ‘On Edge’, an insight into his dreamy world of lucid synthesizers. The label proves to us the everlasting talent of Scotland’s Glaswegian scene: first Sonter, having one release in hand on Blotter Records, returns with an energetic breakbeat track reminiscent of 90’s trance; and Affi Koman, who steps in with “Psychedelic Experience” after former releases on Huntleys + Palmers and Lyceum Social Club. Jacques Torrance, a familiar face and the second half to the dune, shows a new façade with strong French house influences, before a first encounter with England based producer and disc jockey, Rick Sheen, who gives us a chilled out and bouncy house piece.

Celebrated queen of all things techno Nicole Moudaber has found herself at the 50 release milestone of her imprint MOOD Records and to celebrate, has brought along a troupe of talented peers on board to remix her sharp collaboration with Carl Cox. 'See You Next Tuesday' has six reinventions from Danny Tenaglia, Truncate and more, but today's premiere is the first listen of Solardo's take on the tune.

Solardo's rework of 'See You Next Tuesday' serves as yet another reminder of why the British duo have been dubbed tech house maestros in the scene; the moody techno hit finds an upbeat, foot-tapping swing with their touch.

Greco (NYC) delivers yet another raw house masterpiece with South Jamaica, which drops on SOUP NYC alongside a seriously dope remix from Mad Villains. 

NYC based DJ and Producer Greco (NYC) has quickly earned his place within today's thriving dance music scene. Initially learning his craft at Dubspot, he developed a remarkable raw house sound granting him his first record deal with legendary New York label Nurvous Records in 2014. Since then he has gone on to release on a string of A-list labels including MadTech, Toolroom, KMS and most recently Strictly Rhythm. 

His latest comes on US label and party outfit SOUP NYC: a fitting home for an artist with such close musical ties with the city. 

South Jamaica is a raw house cut typical of the style Greco has become know for, with shuffling percussion and chopped vocals perfectly complimenting the star of the show: a heady synth lead that evokes the work of the early US house pioneers.  On the remix, the UK’s Mad Villains caps an exceptional year with an engrossing, bass heavy version, complete with lush pads and stomping bass.

Da Rhythm Sessions 20th February 2018 (DRS159)

Lobster mainstay and German purveyor of the deep raw, TRP aka David Willenberger, returns to Lobster Theremin for a full-on outing of crunchy, melodic, acid-tinged house, techno & electro. 

With recent EP's for Mörk and Shall Not Fade, the young producer comes full circle with a cement-mixed, drum-heavy sound that melds an even weightier production aesthetic to a spectral of tonal distortion usages. 

Title track Thing Won't Change opens with a dusty ambient intro. Soothing-yet-ghostly hollowed out tones echo into the distance as a thumping, rumbling electro drum pattern erupts forth. GAS-esque haunting timbres richochet'd by splintered 909 drum work. 

Conscientious takes showcases a very local signature deep, rolling house-techno sound. Landing somewhere between the skippy minimalism of Dial and Smallville whilst chanelling that signature TRP skip & dance. A playful jaunt that recalls his more aquatic work on the earlier Mörk EP. 

Flipping over we get a two part romp through EFX, a scorched two-track journey into the stomping, club-leaning pallet of Willenberger. Part I is jump-up house driven hard through the tube circuit. Pumpin' kicks & sliced off hats puckering a groove-soaked bass-line, icy stabs and a vocal hit of "Sayyyyy". Proper peak time wonderment. 

Part II ups the skip, dashes in some ominous 80's TV sampling and ups the lucidity of the synths. Real heady stuff snatched from a heartily-stocked medicine cabinet. Outer-realms dance injection & early morning revitalisation.
