This one, after the last song which was very clearly in either G or Gb, was me playing and trying to understand KEY a little bit better. 

I found this old riff I played a long time ago, realized it was a lovely gentle thing but not somber enough for me. After deciding it was in D major, I realized it sounded like an uplifting ending to something. 

So thinking that, I thought it should start in D minor, and as such, I started playing around with D minor chords (Dm Bb Gm F Am C, I think) . From there, some of these riffs came about, and it sounded/felt like walking on pebbles to me, a pebbly shore. Orkney, in Scotland, where I've never been and only know via my friend Tim Miller, whose podcast saved my pandemic. He wrote long poems about this ancient place, and longs to return to there. I opened his book and started marking it up, and trying to find some lyrics.

From there, well, here you go. This is for Tim, and features about 1/4 - 1/3 his words.
