Angèle talk about female homosexuality in “Ta Reine”. She speaks directly to a lesbian person, to deliver a positive global message about homosexuality.
She adresses about the difficulties that a homosexual woman can have with her sexual orientation, caused by a society which still has difficulty accepting that two people of the same sex can love each other.
Here she envisions two women under the image of a royal couple, which would therefore not be made up of a king and a queen, as the traditional view requires, but of two queens.

With the world's biggest Drum & Bass Festival approaching in July - Let It Roll Open Air 2016 - Viper Recordings are honoured to be hosting the Factory Stage for the Saturday of the three day event.

Viper artists: Smooth, InsideInfo, Mob Tactics, and Trei will all be representing the label at the festival, as well as on this special 'Viper Goes To Let It Roll' EP, featuring four brand new, previously unreleased tracks geared straight at the festival crowd.

Starting off the EP, Smooth has delivered the aptly titled 'Let It Roll'. A set-opener if there ever was one, with thunderous drums on the intro and a trademark Smooth build to a drop that will kickstart any rave, festival, or club night into high-gear. Much time had passed since that first moment of DIVERGENCE, in which one had sacrificed the joys of his existence for the betterment of all. Where once a man had stood, now a great tree remained, presiding over the village with the commanding presence of its incredible size. For years the magic of its boughs had shielded those below from harm, but time had worn upon its trunk and the wards that it projected now threatened to falter at the onslaught of the spirits that had long thrown themselves at the border. A single life, it seemed, could not keep evil at bay for all eternity. This fact was known to the council of the village below, and as the great tree began to slip from the world, they set in motion a further plan.

In the depths of one of the great mountains that surrounded the village, its every inhabitant worked tirelessly, hewing and hauling the stone bones of the earth out from the grand chamber they were constructing. At its center, the village’s most skilled artisans worked diligently, inscribing the face of a great obelisk with runes and symbols in a language known to none of them. Night and day the village toiled, until at the final strike of a pickaxe they heard a most ominous sound. A pained groan uttered its way through the valley, followed by the thunderous impact of what could only be the felling of the great tree. The villagers cowered within the cavern, watching in horror as the spirits of evil began to flit about the ceiling above them. Yet as all seemed lost each spirit that had entered the chamber was wrenched downwards, its essence bound to the great obelisk, which trapped their visages in caricatures of agony upon its surface. Though the flood of spirits seemed unending, each and every one soon found itself within a similar stone prison as the dissonant howls of these creatures of evil faded into nothingness within its earthly being. At this sight, the village rejoiced whilst remembering the one who had sacrificed much for them. Though life could not hold back the flood of DIVERGENCE, stone would bind it to its inescapable form.

EATBRAIN their ninth LP with the second release in their DIVERGENCE series, featuring 16 tracks from the many sonic leaders of the label’s vast horde. Within is presented EATBRAIN’s full sonic scope, which spans the breadth of the neurofunk spectrum with tracks from JOE FORD, AGRESSOR BUNX, MIZO, FOURWARD & more - as well as sonic sequences from a variety of rising artists within the genre. Summing the EATBRAIN philosophy in a single sixteen track release, DIVERGENCE II presents a diverse yet unified front as the EATBRAIN horde continues its ravenous audio onslaught.

‘17 years of Mainframe Recordings’ album. The LP features an eye watering 18 tracks, all of which provide a snapshot into how the imprint has evolved over the course of its expansion. Including newcomer artists who Mainframe are currently investing in, as well as those who Mainframe have had play at their raucous club nights, there’s a host of tastes catered for. And with a name like Disaszt at the helm, the album, the label and its events have been in good hands. 
Tracks like Ripple’s ‘Stranger’, Wingz ‘Definite’, and Halflow’s ‘Progressive ID’ set the mood, showing the talent which Mainframe have at their fingertips when it comes to the fresher waters of drum & bass. Then Mainframe frequenters Dubape, Phentix, Alibi and Smooth pull you into their expert riddims throughout its track listing. Breakpitt & Tenchu offers something different throughout the soundscape of ‘Flashfreeze’ whilst Picota & Kumbh’s ‘Contact’ continues the moodier vibes. Tobax’s cutthroat style is prevalent throughout ‘Overback’ and the head honcho Disaszt returns with Dorian for ‘Boom’. Tuff Gee & Carter’s ‘Pimp Ride’, Manta’s ‘Childhood Memories’, Salaryman’s ‘Soul Reminder’, Akov’s ‘Afterlife’ and Counterstrike’s ‘Fearless’ finishes the exclusively new tracks but there’s more to come, with a VIP treatment of TR Tactics and The Clamps ‘Maggot’. 
As an album, it’s a formidable collection of tracks. But when looking at Mainframe’s vast history, they would need such an LP to pay homage to their legacy and ‘17 Years of Mainframe’ certainly delivers. So, sit back and begin your journey through the album, which is sure to bring back memories from the best club nights over recent times.
