Kings of Tomorrow’s place in electronic music history is well assured. 
One of the alias’ for New York legend Sandy Rivera, K.O.T.(@sandy-rivera) helped define the early 90's New York house sound with a series of key releases that climaxed in 2001 with the global smash 'Finally' - truly one of the house music classics.
 
Happily, Sandy Rivera is still making killer, soulful house music and this latest release on Poker Flat Recordings continues to showcase his immeasurable talent for groove. 

‚Kaoz‘ comes along with a fine remix by the Swiss born DJ and producer Dario D’Attis (@dario-dattis-1), that perhaps draws on some the 90’s influence, that K.O.T. defined.

Antrea: Could be the name of a planet from a Sci-Fi movie. A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

Bei Kyongpaul zu Hause ist es echt verdammt gemütlich. Besonders angetan hat es uns sein Kater Hovr. Jede/n von uns begrüßt er mit einem sanften Zwinkern und möchte unentwegt gekrault werden. Wir kraulen dich gerne, Hovr.
Irgendwann klopft es ans Fenster. Es ist Kapitän Planets Onkel Captain Planet. Er hat uns zwar das eine oder andere Mal im Stich gelassen, aber Schwamm drüber - er darf eintreten. Ach und das Grottenolmküken und den Dunstgraf hat er auch im Schlepptau. Gut. Dann ziehen wohl alle mal wieder kräftig an seiner Pfeife. Diesmal schlafen wir ohne Erdbeerquark und Gute Nacht Tee ein - ganz ganz tief.

Die warmen Sonnenstrahlen, die durch die Dachöffnung unserer Jurte fallen, kitzeln uns die Nasenpitzen, bis wir davon aufwachen. Du blinzelst müde in die Runde und bemerkst etwas Funkelndes auf deinem Bauch. Die Silbermünze! Warum hatten wir sie eigentlich mal geworfen?

Hvitling [v'it:ling]; a variety of cod but also the Swedish transliteration of his birth name. He has meandered from the canyons of the Vrbas river to the frosty waters of Öresund before finding his way down to the shores of lake Zurich. Having discovered an inclination for emotional and, at times, melancholic music from an early age whilst strumming classical ballads on his guitar, his attention was rapidly drawn to electronic music. Like a hvitling frolicking in the currents, he takes the listener on a journey through the sea of his mind.
