over the next while I'll be posting tracks from my self-recorded auto-biographical #instrumental album.... Wadin'..... from my pre-Hvymtlhpp era.... 2006... this is the opening track...... representing my attempts at getting myself back on my feet and regaining some sort of sense of stability..... it was not easy...

This tune represents my formative years 1988-1998...... some of the best and worst daze of my life.... a lot of self-discovery, denial, despair, delusions, self-loathing and ego-driven desires to achieve the ultimate in success and fortune....  oh and a shit ton of narcotics and hallucinogens.....this is track 2 off of....

10 year trip...

This tune represents the time in my life after 1994, after a few failed attempts at recovery amongst several years spent in and out of institutions hospitals and treatment centers.....,   this is when I figured I found the cure to my dis-ease.... Hurry-Caine.......🤯🤯🤯🤯.... this is track 3 off of....

This song represents a turnstile in my life... a fork in the road so to speak.... I had a choice to make.... Love.... or.. Death.... my Demons vs my Angel's.... there are 2 lead lines in there battling each other..  who wins!?!?  This was track 4 off of Wadin'...'06...

Love or Death

For 3 of the Wadin' tracks... I played over the same simple rhythym... making 3 similarly different tunes, ...in from the sludge... was the first, this was the second...  after choosing love over death I now had to wade... out to see... where and what my choice would bring me...

After choosing love over death, this tune represents the letting go of my former ways, having faith in a power greater than myself.  Feeling spineless as I try to rebuild and reform myself into a productive member of society.  Facing commitment....!? This was track 6 off of Wadin'...'06....

Spineless

This represents the turning of a new leaf, right around the turn of a new millennium. A steady full-time job, married in 99, a child in 01, well on the road to recovery, yet life seems more chaotic than ever. Hold on tight...  it's a wild ride...Track 7 off of Wadin'.... '06

This is the Love part of Love or Death... finally free from the clutches of death.... It saved me...Track 8 off of Wadin'...'06...

We are nearing the end of my self-recorded #instrumental auto-biographical album.... Wadin'...'06... This is the 3rd track that uses that same simple wading rythym... 'cause no matter what we do, live goes ....on and on....

We've reached the final track... hope uve enjoyed and gained a little insight into my journey back then... this was inspired by cat's in the cradle and played on a cheap toy guitar... once we've chosen love over death and accepted that live goes ...on and on regardless... all that's left to do is....

I'm still a struggling full time family man and slave to the system, and will be for a few more years I'm sure. But I'm hoping to have my music to fall back on.
