And the best music I can find for myself is often really complicated, I mean with several tracks and lot of small noises for example, not that simple that it get´s boring motonone after a while. :3 But I will simply add everything I like here.

Here it is! My brand new original! I worked on this for over a month trying to make it sound as good as possible while experimenting, I tried out a couple of new things: 
A very syncopated hook and bassline, that move around on the scale quite a bit, a bunch of new SFX for build up and over all general effect, a sampled voice for the melody. It's an edited sample from one of the FL Studios voice samples. 
The structure of the song was difficult to work with since I already made the song with a certain chord progression it was difficult to jump around and to change it would mean changing most of the song, which would've taken too much time.

But yeah! Thank you so much on the 100 Subscriber milestone on Youtube! It wasn't only up till a year ago that I only had around 10 subscribers. 100 may not seem like much but I like to over exaggerate the celebration of these little milestones but, honestly they mean so much to me and I can't be grateful enough. Thanks and I hope you all enjoy.

CrossFade 2015 Remixes

Akemashite Omedetou Gozaimasu! Happy New Year Everybody!
(A couple days late XD) but, to start off this year, I have a brand new composition that I've been working on since December.

This composition is weird since it encompasses traits from classical to modern pop, but it's not strictly one or the other. I feature a basic drum set, some percussion instruments, a predominant piano, flutes, and strings. Although it may seem that I've kept to strictly using acoustic instruments, I cheated when the "drop" came. I used an 808 Bass kick with some 707 snares, I did this to create a relaxed but atmospheric break in the song. I drew a lot of inspiration from my favorite artist, DJ Okawari and Yiruma, they both have influenced my original style quite a bit and really made my past with their songs. As for the premise of the song, I wanted a peaceful song that reminded me of the really touching moments in my childhood; ie me inside on rainy days. So I set out to create a piece that complimented the pitter-patter of rain. And this was what I composed, so I really hold this song dear to my heart.

But, enough reminiscing about the past, it's 2016! I hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did making it! Have a happy new year and I'll see you guys soon. So excited, can't wait!

Alright, story time;

Back when I was a wee little lad, I was a big MMO gamer, in particular, I played a lot of Maplestory, back when it was just the adventurers classes. It gave me that sense of adventure I was never able to have due to my urban living standards. I remember meeting my best friend till this day. It made my lonely life a really enjoyable one. Eventually I grew up and got a life (not really). Maplestory has been dear to my experience growing up so I wanted to make something that was inspired by Maplestory's OST. Albeit, add in a bit of inspiration from Yunomi and M2U. In anycase, I hope you enjoyed this one.

The song itself was difficult to design since I didn't heavily rely on heavy bass, like I usually do, and mainly stuck to mid range to high range frequencies. Also played around with the toms for the climax. I tried to add some voice samples and time them correctly, however the samples didn't really match and so I scrapped an hours worth of work. At least I picked a somewhat enjoyable chord progression.
I hope you guys enjoy it and find the same lovely, adventurous, essence of MapleStory in this song.
