EVK is a DJ based in Paris, she explores minimal, mental and deep Techno within the club scene. She plays vocals like whispers in a catchy bass line that gives the warmth of sensuality. Filled with organic and mechanic textures, stripped-down and hypnotic grooves, her mixes take you on a progressive wild ride, raising energy and tension in time. She brings fast percussions and atmospheric sounds together, thinking dance music as a ritual in which body and mind reconnect.

Release starts with Response Call, anabolic kick, obsessive sequences and wisely administered drum parts collide to create a proper dance floor tool.

Microscopic Shifting follows with continuous bass frequencies rolling over a solid rhythm workout, spiced with percussive details appearing now and then in an intelligent arrangement.

Nothing I Can Relate To goes cosmic with subtle drone action and opaque drum components soon activated with sharpened hi hats and stereo spreader elements.

Number four, Emptiness slows down the tempo and introduces a deeper approach to create a perfect club tool.

The EP commences with the viscous and placid sounds which are to be found in the opening track titled ‘Sono Qui’. Followed by the elusive yet escalatory harmonic sounds which encapsulate the second track titled ‘Ascoltaci’. In stark contrast stands the penultimate track titled ‘Parlami’ with its oppressive, enclosed and thumping bass-line. Whilst the EP is concluded by the discordant and disquieting sounds of the final track titled ‘Trasfigurazione’
