This song is about when you are the one in a relationship always fighting to get the other to let you in. The less they open up and push you away,  the more lonely the relationship becomes. Sometimes, it is a slow distancing process but by the end, still feel blindsided it 

When listening, you automatically want to sway along which we hope only adds to the push/pull feeling the song is wanting to achieve. Most of us have experienced relationships like this at some point in our lives. It is beautiful, messy, and pulls at the heartstrings.

Heart-wrenching cinematic indie folk track, featuring both Chris Bartels and Ben Noble’s vast vocal ranges, lamenting "where did I go wrong / baby, we're a long way from the water's warmth." Glass Echoes expanded to include respected Minneapolis producer Matt Patrick, who added creative touches and mixed the single.
