Coming out of San Diego with a finely tuned fresh perspective on house music, the duo Hotfire touches down at Night Bass Records with an outstandingly produced four track EP. Each track touches on different influences and sounds, from the garage-tinged dark roller "I Need" and the breakbeat feel of "Pivotal" to the heavier fidget inspired vibes of "Yesterday" and "Dip That". We couldn't wait to get an EP from these future stars of American bass music and it's definitely a banger.

The exciting fusion of Bassline and techno flavours is always exciting to witness, which is why we were so happy to see this absolute corker from Milazzo appear in our inbox. Compositionally, ‘Operate’ has everything you want from a shooter, being jam packed with emotive vocal processing, moogish bass leads pulsating away and of course super sharp drum sounds. Production wise this one is as smooth as they come, with pleasingly well rounded sounds taking lead roles throughout. 

As she makes her debut on the 3000 Bass channel, it’s clear to see the future is bright for Dallas based Milazzo, who’s crisp approach to bass music is already winning her a lot of plaudits. You can expect to her name popping a lot more regularly in the near future.

Milazzo - Operate

We are back at it again here at threethousand.co.uk with another fantastic Friday premiere to really kick start your weekend with a bang. Today, we are taking a more specific look London's own House of Bangers imprint, a label that has been consistently releasing top quality house music for a number of years, cementing there place as one of the most exciting dance music labels currently operating on mass from the streets of the capital. 

With their releases primarily focussing on stripped back, moody rollers, we can see that 2019 has been a fantastic year for the label. They have contributed to the scene with a number of seriously top quality releases and they here return to finish up the year in style, with the fifth edition of their extremely popular 'Five To Vibe' series launching today. 

With this project the label are able to set a clear showcase of what there sound represents, as they welcome in an array of top quality guests to get busy with their originals. These include some fantastic creations, kicking off with the steadily rising bass growls of Advent's 'Listen', along with the more minimal sub-driven sounds of 'Big Booty' from Teknicoz. We also get a taste of classic house flavours as we dive in to the well refined design of Cavalleieri's 'I Am!', before the heavy bass warbles of Rafael Manga's 'Chill Vibes'.

With that vibrant tracklisting out the way, we are very happy to announce our involvement with the project, courtesy of an official 3000 Blog premiere as we bring you the exclusive upload of 'Whips', from Niles Shepard. This one is a sharp techy roller to the highest degree, combining an array of super punchy drum elements with classic organ chords and a moogy bass tonality to really bring the whole composition to life.

Hybrid Theory are a DJ and Production duo from the cultural hub of the midlands, Birmingham. They have been blazing the UK Bass scene in style since they started now infamous Four40 imprint in 2010.

These guys have taken the UKBass scene by storm with their duty ghost warps, snappy saw’s and the heavy broken beat patten is the winning combination for these guys.

For the Hybrid boys appearances on Diplo's Mad Decent and Norman Cook's Southern Fried Records followed cementing their foothold in the scene as tastemakers in high demand. The guys were most notable so far seeing the release of their much anticipated EP on Champion's genre-bending Formula Records. In 2015 brand new releases will drop first on Jakwob's Boomting Recordings, These guys have a foothold in the music seen now collaborating with some of the top artists in the world. The collaboration with Stanton Warriors had a huge effect on the American breaks music scene, witch lead the guy’s to a 5 state American tour from LA to New York. Not to mention traveling across Europe, to destinations like Germany, Sweeden, Amsterdam, Belguim, Italy, plus many more.

If this kind of output wasn't enough Hybrid have been working tirelessly on preparations for a host of Guest-mixes for BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra following enthusiastic support on the BBC, RINSE FM and KISS, from the likes of Monki, DJ Target, MistaJam, Sian Anderson, Annie Nightingale, TODDLA-T and more (Not to mention other scene heavyweights like DIPLO, ETON MESSY, DJ EZ and ONEMAN)
