THE LARAS — two artists both named Larissa, are a dynamic DJ and producer duo originally from Brazil and now based in Toronto, Canada. Formed in 2025, the project was born from an instant musical chemistry and an unmatched shared energy. Their vibrant presence is rooted deeply in Brazilian culture, history, and art, which they channel seamlessly through Electronic and Latin music.
As singer–songwriters, producers, and DJs, The Laras blend their own vocals with Brazilian and Latin percussion, rhythms, and organic sound elements. Their music draws inspiration from the Amazon, nature, and jungle environments, incorporating healing frequencies and immersive sound textures designed to inspire, uplift, and energize.
Their performances are known for their infectious positivity, powerful connection with the crowd, and the unique journey they create—balancing relaxation, euphoria, and healing. With each set, The Laras deliver an experience that is both deeply cultural and universally resonant.
