Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Groove TheProducer is one of the new-wave forces redefining the sound of Jersey Club music. Known for his diverse production style, Groove crafts everything from BBM and Vibey beats to Cypher-inspired and Poplock-driven club tracks, each packed with infectious rhythm and originality.

Unlike many producers who draw inspiration from mainstream figures, Groove’s creative foundation is rooted in his homegrown Jersey scene, influenced by local legends like BMix, DJ Sliink, DJ Big O, Mike Gip, and others who shaped the genre’s pulse.
Breakout track “KB Bounce” became an anthem across dance floors and social platforms, amassing over 4 million streams worldwide and cementing his status as a rising name in the movement.

Through his music, Groove TheProducer aims to inspire creators to express freely and bridge street culture with the art of music — pushing Jersey Club’s energy to global heights while keeping its authentic roots alive.

From Toronto all the way to South Africa, DJ Smartiez can be heard on the airwaves weekly. However, his home is on Toronto’s very own urban radio station, VIBE105FM. He is the producer of his FM radio shows, “The Essentials”,  #LATELUNCHMIX on VIBE105 and Soca Essentials, a TeamSoca exclusive. 

Over the years, DJ Smartiez has branched out to different musical genres. With this he has had the opportunity to work different events, such as becoming an official DJ for Carnival mas bands (Tribal, Just 4 Fun, Vaval Carnival etc) and headlining for major international parties such as Black Rave and Soca or Die. He has had the pleasure of sharing his talent with many countries such as Barbados, Berlin, St. Lucia, the United States (NY,MIA,ATL,CHI) and more recently Trinidad and Tobago .

Smartiez has proven through his music and skills that there isn’t a limit he isn’t willing to push - may the best DJ win.
