*What is DAUNTRELE?

DAUNTRELE is technically a Deltarune AU that takes inspiration from J-Bugs UT:HH, although the story will be very different from the one currently presented in game (Just as an example, most darkners from Deltarune itself will be replaced with OCs, as well as some lighteners). It is currently planned to release in 4 main acts (Prelude, Movement 1, 2, and 3) and a final release for the Weird Route tracks. 

*What is the plot of DAUNTRELE?

The main difference between Deltarune and DAUNTRELE is that while the Fun Gang are trying to prevent the end of the world, in DAUNTRELE the world already has ended. 

An experiment gone wrong causes a failed Roaring that effectively destroys the world as we know it. The incomplete Roaring causes most of monsterkind and humanity to enter a comatose state, and what few remain are scattered in shelters across the world. Due to the Roaring, Dark Worlds spill out into the Light World, creating a mishmash of non-Euclidean geometry and landscapes where Darkners can roam freely, but remain locked to their respective Fountajn lest they turn into stone. 

Your soul is bound to Chara, the fallen human, who wakes upon fusion with the soul. They are tasked with restoring the balance of light and dark, with the help of some familiar faces and some new.
