Hailing from Switzerland’s thriving scene, GROUND makes his debut on Dispatch LTD with the ‘Cause & Effect EP’. 

Adapting his sound at every corner, GROUND combines deep grooves with intricate drum work, constantly experimenting to infuse an exciting, raw energy into every track.

Having first appeared on labels like Flexout, we are excited to welcome him to Dispatch with an EP of five tracks, including a collaboration with fellow label artist Skylark.

This one has been in the making for quite some time now.
It is with enormous pride that we present to you, "Reflection".

We tried to cover the entire deep end spectrum of our beloved drum & bass genre with a diverse selection of artists to ensure "Reflection" will hold something to everyone's liking.

2018 has been a rollercoaster year for us at Strictly Deep DNB and it has been a year of growth and knowledge that we will take with us into 2019 as we set to keep it rolling with some great forthcoming music, we want to thank you for all the support you have given us!

Reflection

Next up on Lifestyle we celebrate our past year of releases, and give a sneaky look into the future of the label; it’s the Lifestyle Annual 2018!

This Annual marks an important moment in the life of the label; for the past couple of months we've had our heads down, thinking about what's important to us here at HQ and how to revise our look a bit. This has resulted in a fresh approach to our brand and a more refined visual style moving forward into 2019, we are very excited about it and can't wait to show you what's in store!

We’ve knocked our heads together and picked out 16 choice cuts of prime Lifestyle material from the past year, tunes that have stood out to each of us as the finest our label had to offer in 2018. We tried to keep it reasonably varied, but didn’t do so well, so expect a heavy concentration of that deep dark tech inside, as well as a splattering of other distinct sounds. 

While we have got some of the Lifestyle ‘anthem’ tunes in there, we’ve also been careful to include some for the real heads, tunes that some might have missed first time round, that we reckon deserve excavating and rinsing out. 

As if this wasn’t enough, we’ve also thrown in 10 brand-new tracks, featuring some very close connections! A lot of these tracks are from new voices we’ve just started listening to in the scene, and to make it extra personal, four of the ten tracks come from the team here at the label! Mandie, Jamie, Jono & Mersen (+ Ken) dug in and came out with some tracks of their own for the release, including the first ever release for Combine with ‘Retrograde’, a super-vibey deep liquid banger. This exclusively personal touch is the cream on the cake of this release, which itself crowns what was the best year for our label yet. 

We hope you enjoy this release as much as we enjoyed putting it together. We’re deeply indebted to all the artists we’ve worked with over the past year and beyond, without them making the tunes, and you lot buying the tunes, this label would be nothing, so we’re forever grateful for all your support in 2018, and hope we do you proud this year. We’ve got some big plans in the pipeline that we can’t wait to let you all know about, so make sure to stay connected and informed! Depth Returns, next up in the series is talented Bristol-based Incus. 
He delivers with a slick 3 track outing packed with deeper vibes. 

Huge kicks, signature mids and detailed atmospheres are exactly the reasons we love Incus, he has basically stuffed this EP with exactly that and completely nailed the vibe of our Depth Series. 

We are all super proud at the label to finally have some Incus Output under the Boey banner and to bring you guys the Astral Roots EP!

Kuantum & BRK - Step In

Fighting Fire: Relief for Australia is an initiative to raise money to support fire fighters and the communities affected by the current bushfire crisis in Australia.

The project involved the coordination and release of a collaborative drum and bass LP hosted on Play it Forward.

The money raised will be donated to Red Cross Australia. Red Cross provide psychological first aid (among other support) for those affected by events like severe bushfires.

Mental health is a big topic in the music scene and the psychological impact of a traumatic event such as that in Australia would be undoubtedly devastating.

Donating to the Red Cross will directly assist fire fighters, their families and communities in healing and rebuilding following this devastating time.

Artists involved in the project include Bally & Boom, Creatures, Embr, Equilibr1um, False Relation, Freshney, Handsprime, HD, Incus, Jay Marwaha, Jimi Reborn, KOAX, LoKo, M:FX, missledz, Moose, N-MON1C, Philth, Screamarts, Serpico (Philth & Volatile Cycle), SMP, Sublimit and Transforma.  It's been a pleasure to have them involved and we thank them for their contributions. Mark (Abis) kindly offered to master any tracks that were unmastered, which we are very grateful for.
