Twice does not lead to a tradition - but it feels like playing for @swimsupply 🏊 . Whenever the community organisation focusing on lysergic sounds calls, I am more than happy to meet beloved Ellen, Mark Lando and Tesdorpf and to play for their fine events.

So here is a 2h recording from my gig at Wurm in Basel / Switzerland a few months ago where I met and played with fantastic @sellyourmania and @sprtsmanship and its a rare past forward 🦦💃.

UC022 // Next up, is DJ Netburner who has recently returned to Melbourne with a back pocket full of stripped down, rolling minimal tunes.  

This mix floats in the void of a steady march with some intriguing emerging ideas as well as an unreleased track with signature Netburner sampling & techy goodness.

"l've been really interested in mixes and songs that have a bit of push-pull to them like the intensity or feeling of the song isn't always building directly towards being more energetic or more intense.  It has a bit of a push-pull feel to it or like ebb & flow so that's what I wanted to do with this mix.  It starts off a little bit more minimal before getting fuller towards the middle and then stripping back towards the end, with little peaks in between."

A fittingly lush mix filled with dusty, wobbly perfection from the lovely Helsinki based @suskidj this week.

I met Suski when she warmed up for me the first time I played at Post Bar in Helsinki a few years ago - a place i've returned to a few times and truely adore! Suski is a resident at the much-loved Helsinki club. I was initially drawn to her dj'ing as the set she played as a warm-up in Post Bar was a pitch-perfect and contextually divine fit for the space & time. 

This mix is a poignant follow up - diving through through the rich textures of immersive techno, and an entire journey through the world of electronica & idm with broken beats, ambience and charmingly off-kilter percussive rhythms.

Animix One Hundred & Seventy Six: Suski

This transmission is coming to your ears straight from the sunny coast of the Frioul island.

On that day, the rocky beach was as usual drenched in the setting sunlight, licked by the distinct sound of mediterranean waves. But on that day it was also plunged into an immersive ambient and experimental music atmosphere for a very special and extremely meditative yoga class.

Right off the coast of Marseille, a special kind of relaxation ritual was taking place, and at the commands of the sound system, the one and only @ganlan was in control.

This weirdo adventurer can usually be found either in Marseille, organizing this kind of odd event in the beautiful natural settings, or playing Goa trance at parties in China.

In addition to that, Ganlan is one of the nicest human beings we’ve had the pleasure to meet over the past few years, and it is with great pleasure and honor that we host his sonic wandering on HyperBoreal.
