Maeve label honcho The Drifter and co-emperor of the Permanent Vacation kingdom, Benjamin Fröhlich, team up for some rascal business. Always quick to pull the sling shot out of the back pocket and hit you right between the eyes, the original version of Waterville is full of hazy melodies, washed out bells and quirky arpeggios backed up with concrete drums for some extended dancefloor meditation. While The High Tide mix wraps things up a bit with some more prominent drums and a little extra spice on the bassline. Mysterious UK producer A Sagittariun sculptures out of the original a breakbeat house track, that sounds like a hidden treasure from this short but influential period.

@SSSLIP and @Betonbrutt have tapped up grime pioneer Trim to add his bars on 17th Grid release, pressed for the first time on vinyl !

Trim steps up to the mic for the lead track, 'Pigeons', which brings next-gen grime energy with raw, club-ready vibes and menacing bars that are underpinned by a wobbly low end, and it's all perfect for dance floor detonation. 'Transit Limb' dives into a nostalgic yet forward-thinking fusion of experimental grime and UK bass that subtly echoes the sounds of the early 2010s with twisted breaks and chopped vocals.
The boys also invited @Notiiton and @BeatriceMasters for two great remixes, Noti turned the lead track into a precise electro banger and Beatrice drowned Transit Limb to the darkest depths of the ocean to close the EP.

Blue and Green is the combined production efforts of Josh Thompson AKA Bareskin and J. Wiltshire.  The two young producers both have history with Hypercolour; Wiltshire having recently dropped his ‘False Awakening’ single on the label, and Bareskin having contributed to both Hypercolour and Losing Suki imprints in the past.

Emotive territory is plundered on ‘The Wait’, a breakbeat flecked and pacey production that blends introspective vocals, dark guitar melodies and distorted bottom end with refreshing results.

Alan Fitzpatrick, picks up the mantle on the first of two remixes on this
single.  The Drumcode regular has been firing on all cylinders these last 12 months, with class remixes for Trus’me and dubspeeka and releases for Hotflush, Figure, Cocoon and Adam Beyer’s aforementioned Drumcode label. Fitzpatrick strips back the vocal and creates a peak time rolling Dub Mix in his own solid and inimitable style.

A second remix comes courtesy of techno psychonaut, A Sagittariun.  The Elastic Dreams boss follows up singles on HypeLTD and Secretsundaze and remixes for Permanent Vacation and Futureboogie with a distinctively warm and telepathically charged “Re-Dream”.
