Paris producer and live performer @leo-pol presents his debut album on his label @IILE.

The debut album started when Leo Pol was at the peak of an indulgence in Detroit electro. All the tracks featured have been collected and digested over the course of years, put aside with the idea of making an album. Knowing they are not specifically club oriented material, his idea was to tell a story around melancholic sounds without compromising on genres, featuring also elements of garage and jungle into a cohesive whole as on 'Misty Rain'. With this debut LP Leo Pol wanted the music to be infused with a narrative, timeless music that pulls the listener to devour the album from beginning to end. He used machines such as the Roland TR-808 and Korg Triton and many of the songs are recorded straight to tape without being processed by a computer, making the work more difficult but infinitely more rewarding.
