Easy peeps, we're back on premiere duties with a lil footwork number from @brvwvde on @works_records. 

This one sounds like it's been ripped straight outta chicago, with 808s and rhodes taking you on a sonic footwork journey - guaranteed to get your dancers shuffling.

WORKS Records is a Bristol based label for footwork, juke, jungle, hardcore and everything in between, founded by Goldman, DJ Jonco & DJ Lazergun in 2019. The aim of the label is to exhibit the varying global sounds of these styles of music, whilst retaining the futurist vision set out by the originators of these genres.

The label is an extension of the internet forum fka Half-time //Slow/fast and Bristol based club night WORKS, exhibiting the best in all things around 160bpm, and has seen recent coverage from Rinse FM and DJMag. 

Since its inception it has seen releases from footwork legend
Traxman, Italian modular powerhouse Sickarone, and recently UK rising talents Polo Lilli & Slinki. 
Everything is the label debut of Brvwvde, an artist who has been consistently putting out 160 bangers for a while now. Everything is a beautiful Footwork cut that is true to the genre's original sound, with airy pads and constantly shifting 808s that cut through the mix.

This one is a jungle banger from none other than @hyper-john. 

Releasing September 11th 2023 as part of their wider EP on @fam-fmm - this whole release is one hella knee slapper.

"FAM. are happy to present a new mini-album by Hyper John.
Inside tracks at least 155 bmp. The release is inspired by the rave era of the 90s with references to IDM and parties in St. Petersburg club Kruzhok. Each track has a different mood, but with the same atmosphere. This is life with its micro rhythms every day in the concrete jungle. On the edge.

We're back with a new premiere from rising star CRRDR! Releasing as part of their wider EP "RIP LATINCORE 2K24"; I Think I Like is one of the many gems from this release - and is sure to rip up any dancefloor.

CRRDR presents: "RIP LATINCORE 2K24" - the closing of an artistic stage.

Release date: December 12th.

After a year of touring Latin America and Europe, exploring the meaning of Latin Core and Latin Tek, Corredor prepares to close the year with his emotional and transcendental release Rip Latin Core, being the main motivation the censorship by the music industry to his track Traaa which was removed from all digital platforms.

This Album/LP develops the whole theme of Latin Core music from samples and edits of pop, salsa, cumbia and reggaeton tracks, to bring a fusion of fresh music that has revolutionized the global dancefloors during the last few years.

"Rip Latin Core" seeks to coincide as an anthem that speaks of closing cycles, lost and the inevitable evolution of our lives. It is a deep reflection on the past that we must let go of, the present that we must face and the future that is still uncertain. The closing song is a tribute to all the experiences, friendships, relationships and family that has marked Corredor's journey to this point.

"This one goes for the love that was not, for what we were and are no longer, for the past that must be let go, the present to face and the future that we don't know if it will come. This song is a tribute to you and me, to everything we lived through, to our friends, our relationships and our family. It represents the change that will always come, the time that inexorably moves forward and our uncertainty about how long we will be together. I have to go and I leave you my heart."

This release not only marks the closing of a stage in Corredor's career, but also generates great anticipation for what the year 2024 may bring.

With "ME TENGO Q IR", CRRDR invites us on an emotional journey through Latincore taking the foundations of Salsa and reminds us that, ultimately, music is the universal language that connects our souls.

The "Suyos" were the four regional divisions of the Peruvian society that ruled over a large portion of Southamerica before their encounter with Europeans which completely transformed history in 1532.

The four Suyos were characterized as:

-Collasuyo (South East) or the region of the Llama
-Chinchaysuyo (North West) or the region of the Tiger
-Antisuyo (North East) or the region of the Jaguar
-Contisuyo (West) or the region of the Condor

With Cuatro Suyos Eck Echo gives a friendly wink at our common history while saluting the future with four outstanding tracks by Peruvian producers that we love.
