This is a remix/cover whatever you want to call it, that we did for Randy Yasenchak of ELDER GEEK's 25 games for my son series, with the next episode focusing on none other than Chrono Trigger! 

The whole album is.. mind blowing, honestly. I don't sing praises of remixes albums all that often, but this one has struck a chord with me, multiple times. I don't think I was as excited about a remix album since we worked on the FEZ Sides, so it'll be great to get these out. Big deal covering such iconic music, so I wanted to do a unique and appreciative spin on how it was done, hopefully people enjoy. If not, ENJOY ANYWAY!

The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker- Dragon Roost Island Remix

This is a remix we did for an <a href="http://ocremix.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">ocremix.org</a> endorsed album by indie musicians. It celebrates the 25 years of Zelda that this year has solidified in all of our upbringings.
Dan was a big fan of LTTP and OoT, where as I was into Wind Waker quite a lot, to an unhealthy degree. We had Kevin help with the voices on this, myself &amp; Kevin tackled the voices, Dan played the guitar, and I played the melodic, tin whistle, and the "dink" noises which are just two glasses of water and a pair of spoons :) Oh and I played the sticks too, clicky click!

Really great, in fact probably the best remix album I've had to do in video games, Rich pulled the cream of the crop and got an amazing result, very humbled to sit amongst these musicians, and to be asked to remix for what is easily one of mine & Dans favourite OSTs of all time now. Musing freely on two themes from Disasterpeace's FEZ soundtrack: "Beacon" and "Forgotten." 

Amazingly, this was me and surasshu's first collaboration in person! It was great to feel things out and play off of each other face-to-face. The end result is different than what we're both used to - much more loose and improvisatory-sounding, as you'd expect from two people making music in a room together. 

We named our arrangement "Come Back" in reference to both the words beacon (a guiding light) and forgotten (something you've encountered in the past, but have lost.)

We hope that you enjoy it!
